Perfect fit for my 30 year old Rainbow Vacuum.

Good part for a ld Rainbow vac
It was what I wanted, fit perfectly but the pin that holds the old one in place was a pain to remove. The wire spring does not come with it but that was mentioned.

pretty easy to change
pretty easy to change with a finishing nail and a small hammer. drive the pin out, replace latch and reinstall the pin.

Instructions needed
These latches were a bargain but there were no instructions on how to install them on my Rainbow vacuum. I had to look up several YouTube videos in order to get them on. I think I should have spent the extra money & ordered genuine Rainbow parts instead.

Vacuum cleaner latch

Worked perfectly on our near 30 year old Rainbow vacuum!
We received our GoodVac Water Pan Latches on time. My husband watched a Utube video which was very helpful! He noticed the pins were rusty so he used a machine oil to clean them off and that made it easier to put back in. This process did not take very long and my vacuum is now in good working order.

Does anyone know where I can buy the little push pins that hold these latches in place, same with the little retractor springs?
