I would like to compliment the seller. Some reviews in the past were negative about assembly. I did not find this to be the case. Written instructions were clear and easy to understand. Some parts bags included a few extras just in case. The parts bags used with the assembly of the bed frame itself were clearly labeled and no guessing was required.Overall very satisfied.

Product arrived with a damaged (cracked) side panel. Ameriwood got me a replacement very quickly. Assembly went well but does require 2 people with carpentry experience.

I want to start by saying the product is surprisingly nice. Wasn't the easiest to put together but turned out well. I don't like to write bad reviews and will keep this brief. It took 3 weeks to get delivered. I paid over $200 in shipping charges, and it wasn't delivered on time. When I talked to the shipper, they said there was a product quality issue, and on a 2nd call said there was a broken part and the shipment would arrive (3 days late) as a partial delivery. They couldn't tell me anything about it but that I had to call the seller, so I called Amazon because the seller didn't have a phone number. They told me it would be delivered 3 days late but should all be there, and didn't at all acknowledge what had happened with the shipper. So it felt like a 'just shut up and see what happens' kind of a situation. Another kicker was I had someone lined up to put this bed together, which made it very hard when it was late and when I couldn't get a straight answer. Just FYI buyer beware.....

Assembly was very time-consuming, Pressed wood broke in a few places upon assembly. Could’ve been more descriptive with the hardware involved. The size screws the various options. Not sure what size mattress to purchase for this particular bed would like recommendation.
