It works best with small seeds like alfalfa, broccoli or other microgreens rather than larger beans but for salads sandwiches and toppings it is perfect. The first time I messed up by putting the smallest seeds in the bottom. This time, after completely reading the directions, I am doing much better. Top to bottom, smallest to biggest, Alfalfa, broccoli, brown lentils, white beans. They are doing very well, only 3 days and all are starting to sprout. Looking forward to 😋 yummy sprouts. After use I have decided its not what i wanted. This is great for sprouts, but not microgreens which is what I wanted. so am giving it to a friend that loves sprouts and moving on to microgreen trays. Still a good little system.

This sprouting kit works much better than the sprouting jar or homemade device I used to use for sprouting mung beans. It is well designed easy to set up and easy to store. Just stack in it the number order number to set up 4 tier. Put it in a reverse and it flatten to fit the storage bag. Easy to clean. Just rinse it out. Storage bag is also used as a cover bag to get the seeds to germinate. Appears to made from a high quality plastic. Good value for the money. Efficient and economical way to add fresh safe homegrown sprout to you nutrition.

Nice sturdy little kit. However, the layers can not be separated as they are different widths so stacking and then removing trays that are ready but leaving others did not work. Watered the counter very well, LOL. So still looking for something a little better.
