This is the ticket. Concentrated, so I don't need to use much. It honestly deals with the ammonia smell of a hard workout, even if the clothes have waited on a hook for a few days before laundering. Man-made fabrics sure hold the stink. I was pleasantly surprised at how effective this detergent is!

I have a family member who is a runner, and his activewear clothes always have a tinge of sweat to them. This detergent uses enzymes to destroy odor, so I figured I would give it a try. I do mix this detergent with my regular detergent because this one is fragrance-free and my family enjoys scents; however, I find that my runner’s clothes do smell fresher than they did before I started using this detergent. This bottle is small, in my opinion, so I am only using it when I find that my runner’s clothes are getting extra smelly. The bottle size and the frequency of use could make this product cost-prohibitive for some.

Works very effectively and smells good. Also ingredients are safe for someone who is allergic to methylisothiazolinone.

Unable to use the product as the packaging was damaged due to product spill. The company need to redesign these bottles if they plan to expand their eCommerce footprint. I requested a replacement, and received the second bottle with spill concealed in wrapping with diluted product. Returned for refund.

Finally a product that is specifically made for athletic wear, active wear and materials of that type. Heritage Park Activewear Laundry Detergent Is truly fragrant free, no harsh additives and works to really clean the material most active wear is made out of. My daughter is an avid rock climber and hiker. She travels extensively for the love of the climb. The clothing that she purchases is expensive and designed for warmth or cooling while in extreme elements and also being worn during strenuous activities and for long periods of time. The material of active wear is light weight with “packing” in mind for hiking outdoors. Being able to care for clothing such as that and protect the investment while getting the material clean isn’t as easy as some would think. This detergent is designed to penetrate active wear to REALLY clean it-not just “sit” on top of the dry fit fabric and over scent it. My daughter also has skin allergies to fragrance and other additives and this product is made with that in mind. It’s Dye Free, Sulfate Free, Bleach Free, Chlorine Free. Active wear is worn close to the skin for long amounts of time, while doing activities that need it to feel like a 2nd skin. So knowing this product doesn’t use additional ingredients that can irritate the skin in those conditions is a huge plus! From cleaning yoga pants that women wear around the house to cleaning expensive active wear— this company has finally made a detergent that is designed for it. So far it has worked great and I’ll update if any skin irritation occurs. The clothing is clean! No fading or spotting from detergent that basically sits on that type of fabric with other brands.

I have found the solution for getting a teenage boy’s white socks and baseball uniform brilliantly white again. This product is amazing and has a very pleasant fragrance. I highly recommend it, and you can even use it on colored clothes. It works wonders on sweaty, smelly clothes. Although it's expensive, it’s worth it because it works. The clear, thin liquid has no smell, and you only need 1/2 to 1 capful. It’s worth the price because I don’t have to hassle with adding other products like vinegar or borax. I like that it’s a liquid because powders in my HE washer are best added after the water has filled the machine, making it a pain to add later. In addition to workout clothes, we use it on sweaty clothes from working in the yard or simply being outside on a hot day. I’ve used it on bed sheets and towels too, though not regularly. It also works on undergarments, but I hand wash those and use very little of this product. I’ve added it to my subscribe and save.

Look, I've got a husband who coaches soccer, a daughter in dance, and myself and my dad actively remodeling our house. The amount of stains and the variety of stains in my household laundry is definitely worthy of study. I use all sorts of products to get stains out of our clothes. With the remodel, I've started to just give up and accept that certain outfits are now manual labor outfits and cannot be saved. I was really excited to test this out because I really would like to get some of the work clothes back into daily wear quality. This detergent really did very little. It's not as good as the (cant say the name) Oxygen named stain remover. I still haven't found anything that provides the same stain-fighting quality as that brand. I do think that this detergent added a little bit of help maybe in loosening stains but I can't confirm that and the load of laundry I was hoping to see results with came out pretty basic. I can see this working really well on organic stains from plant material, refuse, etc. I don't see it tackling anything above that. It's ok. I wont buy it again.

The Heritage Park activewear detergent worked just fine. This isn’t going to remove much more than sweat stains and new stains that haven’t set in. Once you notice the stain you want to immediately put the clothing in cold/room temp water and add some detergent. Let it soak for 30 minutes-1 hour and then wash as normal. This is how I get it to work really well. There is no “scent” it’s literally just the cleaners you’re smelling, so yes, this is fragrance free.
