A Practical Guide to SysML: The Systems Modeling Language (The MK/OMG Press)

This is an outstanding book. Beautifully printed, with excellent text and diagrams, this is is the best book I have seen thus far on Model Based System Engineering and SysML. It it is one of the few books that I feel I can really embrace and use as a reference book. Thank you to the authors and producers of this book. Absolutely fantastic.

Useful guide to the topic starting with an introduction before delving more into depth

An excellent book for anyone who seriously wants to get to grips with SysML. Well written, accessible and comprehensive.

very practical!

The comment is about packaging the book and delivery, I've not read the book yet to share my opinion. Technical books are expensive, I would be more than happy to spend a few dollars for packaging and delivery to get the book in good condition if "Free" delivery and packaging means getting a damaged book. I don't have time to return and buy it again and hope it will be delivered properly.

OCSMPのstudy materialとして挙げられている通り、SysMLのみならずMBSEについて「どう実践するか」という視点で詳細に解説がなされた良著です。 SysMLに関する解説は非常に充実しており、特に1.3について学べる本書は貴重です。またMBSEやメソドロジについても幅広く記述されているため、SysMLの初学者の方はまず”SysML Distilled”で言語についての基礎知識をつけておくことで本書をよりよく消化できるのではないかと思います。

I have been on a mission to learn SysML and create a model for my engineering system work. I have searched, read books, watched youtube videos, used magicdraw. this book along with 'sysml distilled...' by Delligatti are my recommendations. Additionally "object-process methodology..." by Dori is a book i recommend. it's not SysML but it is similar and helped me to understand the concepts first. i recommend the book by Dori first, then the book by Delligatti, then the book by Friedenthal. The one by Friedenthal i continue to use as a reference

This book is a must for someone who wants to master SysML. It provides a reliable reference to OMG SysML 1.4 and it provides a lot of examples. I bought all the editions of this book because the authors improve it significantly and they are in sync with the latest version of the OMG specification. I bought the Kindle edition and it is the kind of books that pushes the Kindle reader to its limits. The authors are referring to the figures that may be located many pages in front or back of the current page. While I didn’t find any easy goback key to the original location in Kindle, I have to think twice before looking at the referred figure.
