Solid speaker all-around.
Solid speaker, loud, clear, small. Background: I have owned a lot of computer speakers and speakers of all sizes and I work as in audio. I'm not a complete expert, but I do have a ton of experience in all things sound. For a speaker that can fit in your pocket, this thing is really good. I bought it for a vacation, so we could play music in our cabin, and it delivered well beyond my expectations. It was plenty loud, with more room to go. There is a major difference from listening to things straight from a laptop, tablet, or phone with little effort and it sounds pretty close to a real speaker setup.Battery: The battery lasted just around 8 hours of nearly continuous play. A nice feature: it shuts down after awhile if it does not detect a signal from your device. Great for saving battery and not forgetting to turn it off.Build Quality: Very durable, it seems. It has a rubber shell. I would say you could drop this off a roof and it would survive. A nice option for camping, vacations, bonfires, rugged activities where it may take some abuse, but also where a power supply doesn't come easy and you need portability. The blue color with grey and orange accents is really nice.Sound Quality: I found the sound to be clear, with plenty of volume. There are speakers that project nicely, without being "loud" - I would not put this into that category, but those speakers cost at least 4x the price. There were times where it seemed to be getting too loud for everyone. But, for the price, that is nothing to complain about. There is a lot of bass, but not a crazy amount (which a lot of brands think more bass means good). It has a pretty even EQ; you can hear everything well. Since it is portable, just move it around the room and find the best spot where it can be heard, but won't be in everyone's face, isn't bouncing off reflections like hard surfaces, and it will sound awesome.Value: Well worth the money. I will be using this a lot, i can already tell. JBL is a very experienced brand in this department. I have heard other bluetooth speakers. Although I haven't A/B compared anything else, this one sounds just as good as anything else out there I can remember, including the more expensive JBL tube.

Small but powerful! Crisp sound!
Small but very powerful! Purchased this one to use it on our skiing trip, it easily attaches to the jacked and it’s very small and light. Now we hooked it up to our atv so we can listen to music while riding! Battery lasts a while!

Exceptional speaker
I avoided the JBL brand because it looked too much like the JL audio brand, sort of like a company trying to capitalize on Sony by naming themself Sany or Sonny. But I'm glad I didn't pass on this speaker because it's absolutely amazing.First, the bad. Since it's a waterproof design, the buttons are covered with silicone which isn't particularly pleasant to touch, but they work without requiring additional force, so it's only a small aesthetic issue. The real issue is that the USB-C port on the side (for charging) is completely covered. Maybe the packaging it supposed to include a silicone or rubber plug, but mine didn't, so I'm not sure how "waterproof" it really is.Now for the good. Despite the speaker being about the size of a credit card, it sounds so much bigger and deeper. Good bass response, good high end, and absolutely no distortion or buzzing even at max volume. I have combo amplifiers for guitar that are bigger than this and sound much worse. So if you're looking for a good quality, travel speaker that can resist water, this is one to consider. Even if you don't need the water resistance or travel features, this is still a good buy. It's not as cheap as some, but it more than makes up for it.

A Tiny Powerhouse with Stereo Sync Magic
If you’re looking for a compact, reliable, and surprisingly powerful speaker, the mini JBL portable speaker is a fantastic choice. Designed for people on the go, these speakers combine portability with sound quality, offering features that punch well above their weight.Build and DesignThe mini JBL portable speaker is lightweight and fits comfortably in your hand. Its rugged, waterproof design (IPX7 rating) makes it perfect for poolside parties, beach outings, or hiking trips. The durable fabric and rubberized housing give you the confidence that it can withstand accidental drops and splashes. The bass is punchy without overwhelming the mids and highs, ensuring clarity for vocals and instruments. It’s perfect for small gatherings or personal use, but don’t expect it to replace a full-fledged sound system for large spaces. That said, the audio remains distortion-free even at higher volumes—a testament to JBL's engineering.Stereo Sync FeatureOne of the standout features is the ability to pair two mini JBL speakers for stereo sound. The syncing process is straightforward—just press a button on each speaker, and they’ll link seamlessly. The stereo mode elevates the listening experience by adding depth and immersion, making it ideal for watching movies, gaming, or simply enjoying your favorite tunes with a friend.Battery LifeThe battery life is another highlight, offering up to 10 hours of playtime on a single charge. It uses USB-C for charging, which is both fast and convenient. Real-world usage may vary depending on the volume level, but it consistently delivers enough power to last through a day of moderate use.ConnectivityBluetooth pairing is quick and stable, with a range of up to 33 feet. The connection remains strong even through walls, making it easy to move around without losing the signal. Additionally, the speaker supports voice assistant integration, allowing you to control music or check the weather with ease.Value for MoneyPriced reasonably, the mini JBL portable speaker offers excellent value. Its combination of portability, sound quality, and features like stereo sync and waterproofing makes it a versatile companion for any lifestyle.Final VerdictThe mini JBL portable speaker proves that big things come in small packages. Whether you’re relaxing at home, hosting a casual get-together, or adventuring outdoors, this speaker delivers. Its stereo syncing capability is the icing on the cake, allowing you to double the sound for an unbeatable experience. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a portable speaker that doesn’t compromise on quality.Rating: 4.8/5Pros: Compact, waterproof, stereo sync, excellent sound quality.Cons: Limited bass for larger spaces. Perfect for single rooms though!
