Weird little toy that keeps my husband and grown kids entertained. I thought is was an odd purchase but will keep you busy. Great for kids of all ages… rechargeable battery is good too!

I just gave this to my 10 year old son. It was a HUGE hit. Fun, addictive. It's just cool. I'm not sure how else to describe it. I may end up buying one for myself as I want to play with it too. I'd give it 4.5 stars (but I'll round up to 5) as the only issues I'm feeling are (1) the string can tangle quickly, which I do understand that failure when playing with this thing makes when you master it it better, but I wish it was a little easier to unknot/untangle; (2) it is a little louder than what I'd like; and (3) I wish there were ties included for the strings or some sort of included string organization... The strings didn't come with any rubber bands or twist ties, but the short charging cable did lol.

This is a surprisingly cool toy that combines physics and play. Once you get the hang of it, the spinning loop of string creates shapes and tricks that look almost like magic. The built-in LED makes it even more fun in dim lighting, which adds to the “wow” factor for kids. There is a small learning curve at first, but once you figure it out it becomes addictive to play with. This toy is awesome! My son loves it. It comes with several different string sizes and colors. Only the white ones actually glow. It's very easy to set up the strings and use. It's a rechargeable battery, which is great. The only issue is you will be untangling the string quite a bit when the younger kids are learning to use it, so definitely start them out with the short string. The longer strings are best suited for outdoor use, unless you have a huge room to use it.

It's alright. I don't know if mine is just faulty, or if it's just the product, but it gets pretty warm after about 5 minutes of use and you have to press the button kinda hard to get the string to continously flow. If I don't give it a lot of pressure on the button then it'll turn off and on a lot.

Don’t hesitate to purchase these. I bought them for my grandchildren’s stocking ages 14-22. EVERYONE in the family had a great time playing with the ZipString They’re quite unique, in that, it’s a mystery on how they work. A little pricy, but worth it. Would recommend for older kids 12 and up because, they’re pricey and younger ones won’t appreciate the concept. Be sure to play with it at night using the neon strand!!

Great little toy, highly entertaining. Battery seems to last ages. The longer strings need to be in a big room or outside. Glow in the dark feature works really well at night. Lots of fun and easy to use.

6 and 9 year old LOVED it

I bought 3 of these for Christmas for my grandchildren, and they love them. It keeps them entertained with each other and their zipstrings (and the pets) The drawback with these toys is the limited capacity of variations available as far as uses. The colors are very vibrant and glow beautifully, which is also a huge attraction. They were definitely worth the price!
