The shower head and water filter arrived on time. The quality is amazing. Metal components are made with great precision, especially the “feel” of the threaded components that assemble smoothly and accurately. The water quality discharging from the system is noticeably better. Very pleased with this product and will recommend and buy again.

SS metal housing is heavier than most plastic models and the filter element is well built. These qualities are reflected in the higher price point, but certainly worth the additional increment.

Before I bought the filter, the high iron content of the water in our building would stain the white shower surface and my eczema would worsen with each shower. The product eliminated these issues completely for the first three months. I reversed the filter in the unit as recommended in the instructions. The reversed filter is not working as well, and the reddish stains are slowly coming back. My eczema is also getting worse again. See image. Edit: The manufacturer kindly issued a full refund after my review, which I greatly appreciated. My advice to them would be to dispel the confusion created by differing filter replacement times suggested on the webpage and the manual that comes with the product. Should the filter be replaced every 3 months or can it go for 6? Also...The replacement filter seems to be out of stock on both Amazon and their own store, which is worrying. I hope it gets restocked very soon.

If the city where you live has chlorine or other additives to its water, then you should consider installing a water filter. I did not always have filtered water in my shower. I contributed my dry, brittle nails and hair to weather, shampoo/ conditioner and other factors. Little did I know it was my water! I tried this shower filter immediately. It was so easy to install.
