BEST MOUNTS FOR "Arlo" CAMERA for the $$$
I purchased these to replace another set of mounts that had the large disk adjustment lock nut. Because the lock nut is so large I can not attach the charging cable to the camera while it is mounted. Those mounts required me to unmount my cameras whenever I needed to recharge the battery. Every time I charged the camera battery I would have to realign the camera. With these mounts, the camera is aligned and locked in position. When I need to recharge the battery, because of the small locking nut, I can just plug in the charging cable without moving the camera. I am now thinking of getting the solar power attachment so I won't even have to worry about the camera again.

Solid, but not built for outdoors (threaded adapters rust)
Purchased 2/25/19, installed both mounts approximately a week later on exterior of home. 4 months later I went to charge my Arlo Pro 2 cameras and noticed quite a large build-up of rust on the threaded adapter, making it difficult to remove the camera(s) from the mounts. Mount is definitely solid and constructed well. The threadedadapter actually had sufficient clearance in the back of the Arlo Pro 2 camera to allow a charging cord to be installed without interference issues. But after seeing the rust, I went ahead and dropped a lot more $$$ on actual Arlo OEM mounts. I put the 2 mounts on MarketPlace for $5 hoping to recoup my loss. I would NOT recommend to purchase for outside.

Not a well made product
Opened the box and thought I made a good purchase. Went to install these and realized they were absolute junk. The paint on them is very thick and when you start tightening it down, the paint chips off and the mount can’t spin independently from the ball the camera mounts to. I should have sent them back but after spending a couple hours finessing them into place I didn’t want to take them down. I’m sure I’ll be replacing them soon after they rust apart since the paint chipped off though.

Don’t waste your money.
These are very poorly made. I’m not a perfectionist but the threading and machining are a joke. After climbing a tall ladder and mounting the base to my soffit I couldn’t tighten the ball joint to aim the camera because of poor fit.

Great length
Nice brackets with small jam nut so you can plug in Arles Pro to charge without removing. Adjust camera and tighten swivel and it stays in place.
