The Fletchers' Mill 10-inch Small Jar Scraper features a high-quality, heat-tolerant silicone head and a solid handle crafted in Maine from premium New England hardwood. The scraper head is molded from flexible and durable silicone that is perfect for scraping out the sides of blenders and mixers and for reaching into narrow jars. The versatile scraper head is heat resistant to 500 degrees and safe for nonstick pans. The silicone scraper will not absorb flavors, is stain resistant and is dishwasher safe. To clean the scraper, simply remove the silicone head and wash it by hand or in the dishwasher. The wood handle wipes clean with a damp cloth. Do not put the handle in the dishwasher. The 10-inch Jar Scraper coordinates with other Fletchers' Mill Silicone tools including 12, 10 and 8-inch Spatulas and 12 and 8-inch Spoons. Fletchers' Mill Silicone Tools are available in Raspberry, Blueberry, Lemon and Lime colors.

To be perfect, just a tad stiffer
My goodness there are a plethora of similar ones, but paired with the larger size and not quite right. Know what I mean? Spent probably an hour looking for just the ONE to replace the one my husband ruined (and he ruins a lot of my kitchen stuff, including pots and pans). I chose this one because it could reach the bottom of a mayo jar, which I did just yesterday making chicken/cranberry salad for lunch. My one con is that the working end is so long and pliable that its functionality would be greatly increased if it were made a bit stiffer and perhaps 1/2-3/4" shorter. Nonetheless, I'm pleased with my purchased. Also, it cleans up well, with no apparent leaking under the silicone where the wooden handle inserts into it, as has been a huge issue with a regular one purchased at WS.

as well as not make that annoying stainless steel spoon against stainless steel container scratching sound
I have been utilizing this scraper daily since I received it. After purchasing a Frieling French Press 18/10 17-22 ounce stainless steel coffee press, I needed something that would scrape the coffee grounds from this container without scratching the inside, as well as not make that annoying stainless steel spoon against stainless steel container scratching sound... ;), this tool does just that. I would prefer that the rubber end was a bit more stiff because the length leaves it on the pliable-side. I am pleased with my purchase knowing that this scraper is made in the USA, and through making purchases on Amasonsmile.com, a portion of your purchase will be donated to the charity of your participating charity. Thank you Amazon for enabling charities to benefit while consumers purchase needs and wants... it's a win-win for All involved!

Made in USA!
I don't use this scraper as often as some that I have, but when the Mayo jar is low, this is the tool for the job. It is more flexible than most which makes it less appropriate for cookie dough but perfect for jars - thus the name "Jar Scraper." I do like the lemon color a lot. It is bright and cheerful to the eye. Not nuts over the handle, but that is personal preference. All in all this tool is a winner for usefulness, looks, price, and safety - because it is made in USA.

I really like the reach of this scraper
I really like the reach of this scraper. I wish the handle went into the silicone a bit more. The tip is very flimsy and if you are scraping anything stiff it buckles under the weight.

Jar scraper
Long enough, but would have liked a firmer scraper. It was still useful.

Made in USA
Nice made in the USA spatula. Both the head and the wood handle are USA sourced. They warn not to wash the wood handle in the dishwasher at the company website.

Just Ok...
The rubber part a bit flimsy. The handle is great!! I had hoped for a better smoother operation of using this spatula. It does not scrape the sides as cleanly as I had hoped.

but I am sorry that the newer rubber scrapers don't come to a finer edge that the old ones did
What I needed, but I am sorry that the newer rubber scrapers don't come to a finer edge that the old ones did.
