Great lubes.

Applied lube V1 (high viscosity silicone) to a creaky ShengShou 5x5. Just put a single drop into each intersection along the main diagonal on the white and yellow sides, working/wiping each as I went. This turned a crunchy cube into a much nicer one. Don't get me wrong, there are no finger tricks in sight, but it's much less tiring to turn so the lube has definitely helped. I applied 6 drops of V2 (water based) to various places on a Rubik's Void cube. This transformed a gummy disaster of a cube into one that turned great and was actually fun to solve. Reports online claim that this lube doesn't last long, and I can confirm this. Even 30 minutes later it's already started to revert. So this is useful as a short term fix for a handful of solves, but that's about it. I then tried the unmarked (low viscosity silicone) lube (which I found out online is called "V3") on an official Rubik's 2x2. Now, to be fair, I wasn't expecting miracles on such an awful cube, but this seemed to accomplish nothing, except adding a squeaking sound. Reading more about it online this one is often cited as useful for slowing down a cube that's too fast. Oops! Well, at least I get some sound effects. There needs to be more documentation about how each lube performs. This is where the Cosmic lubes excel, because they did the research to understand and describe the characteristics of each lube. It would also be nice if the tips weren't so large. I felt like I was getting more lube on the stickers than inside the cubes. Note: No endorsement is intended of the cubes mentioned here, it's the opposite really: I selected some badly performing cubes from my collection to see if I could improve them.

Lube came in a small plastic bag. 2 of the lubes come labeled v1 and v2 but the rest is in Chinese so I had no idea what they did the last bottle has no label but has a different style cap. I had to look around to figure out what these did, v1 seems to be an all rounder lube description for it was smooth and controlled, v2 is a speed lube description of this was increase speed in puzzle and the last v3 is a slow lube description for it was for hardware and slowing down your puzzle. I've used this on a tornado v3 that felt a bit sandy and was a little hard to control, using v1 I added 3 drops and worked it into the puzzle, smooth out the sandy feeling and gave the cube way more control than I liked. I did added 2 drops of v2 to try and speed it backup and this did the trick, cube feels smooth as glass with a consistence speed that's easy to control. I have not used v3/bottle 3 so I cannot comment on it. Cons-no documentation on what these lube do or if there is its not in English. I do recommend this lube set, its a good starting point of fast, slow and controlled lube all in one place for you to experiment with.

Looking to speed up or slow down your speed cube? I tested this lube on a few of my “tired” old cubes, and found the lube worked well. One particularly poor turning cube went from turning like a coffee grinder into a nice smooth turning speed cube. Only a tiny amount of lube produces an instant improvement of hard turning cubes. Tubes one (high viscosity) and three (low viscosity) are silicone based and tube three is a water based lubricant. Now that I have a few options for cube lube, I’ve been playing with making my cubes settings much looser, and adding the low viscosity lube to slow the speed down. Recommended Pros: - Easy to apply - Instant results and feedback - Small and convenient for travel - Multiple choices (Viscosity Options) Cons: - None

This is a very nice set of three lubricant options. We have a speed cuber in our house who has a diverse collection of cubes. This lubricant set will last a long time and the options will be useful for the different types of cubes. We are very happy with this set.

Arrived without instructions for use. Had to search online as the bottle labels are all in a foreign language. 2 out of 3 bottles arrived without a seal. Will probably have to purchase quality lube elsewhere.

Alright cube lube. Not the greatest doesnt come with what lube does what and hard to find online. Used on gan 12 and tornado v3. Gan 12 none of these worked good. Tornado made it was more controllable and way better for speed cubing.
