I was really hopeful when I bought the THINKCAR BD6 OBD2 Scanner Bluetooth, as I had read plenty of positive reviews beforehand. The product arrived well-packaged, and I was excited to start using it to diagnose my car’s issues and check the engine light. However, my experience wasn’t as smooth as I’d hoped.One of the major issues I encountered was with connectivity. Although the scanner is supposed to connect via Bluetooth, it didn’t always do so reliably. Sometimes, it would take a long time to establish a connection, and other times it wouldn’t connect at all, which was incredibly frustrating. I tried troubleshooting and following the instructions carefully, but the issue persisted. This meant I couldn't rely on it for any diagnostics when I needed it most.Another issue I faced was the scanner’s overall performance. When it did manage to connect, the system would sometimes be slow in reading the codes or showing diagnostic information. This delay made it feel like the tool was more hassle than it was worth, especially when I was trying to diagnose a problem quickly. Given these difficulties, I decided to return the product.It’s a shame because the THINKCAR BD6 had a lot of potential. When it worked, the features seemed decent, but the frequent connection problems and delays made it too unreliable to keep. The unit i got was already registered to a user, so received a second hand item at new prices be careful

This is a decent tool but it took a goo 5-10 minutes to register and activate the device then actually get it reading my Renault car diagnostics. The features are good and you can get a lot of detailed information on your car and how its running from it. What really annoyed me though was as I was trying to register the account it brought up a full screen advert I couldnt get rid of. Other than the advertising, it works well.
