I tried http://www.desertcart.com/Lifegard-Aquatics-Double-Threaded-Bulkhead/dp/B001EUG9PU/ref=pd_bia_nav_t_1?ie=UTF8&refRID=1KAWR8JSC2WGF0DBCPPV but didn't like that it wasn't a reverse thread and not as heavy duty. I couldn't find a truly free flow spigot for my rain barrel so I made one up from parts that I got from Home Depot that works very well and was cheap to make. If you just drain yours with a hose then the first photo shows how mine looks, if you like to drain yours into a bucket then the second photo but you don't need to add the hose adapter.

Brand new and went to install a fitting. Wasn't even tightened down and it cracked. Piece of junk

Looks to be high quality.
As it turns out, I did not use this item so don't have actual use experience. However, it looks to be rugged and of good quality so I have little doubt it would work as expected.
