You don't actually own anything you can resell later, but it's more like a novelty item, like buying or naming a star. My piece of land was more like on the side of a dirt road. I guess if you add up all the land around the area, maybe happylandgifts owns or leases a part of that and you can actually go on the overall property and have a picnic or something. But the chances of that happening are pretty slim. Still, you can call this small plot of space your own and that feels nice, even if you may never set foot on the square of land you own.

I ordered this for my wife as one of our little anniversary presents. She and I love to visit New York, so I ordered the New York plot (just be aware that it's somewhere in Carthage, not in Manhattan, as the image on the "deed" would lead you to believe). I don't know how seriously I take the whole thing, but it's nice that the kit provides so much information about the program and the plot of land, regardless of how accurate it really is. It's nice to have a QR code that links to our "plot" and makes this a nice little gift for someone in your life who has a particular attachment to a special place.Whether or not it's a value for what you get is up to you, but my wife really liked it.

Instead it is a small site on an already large plot of land that is open to the public where you could sit down and take the sights in or take pictures. The actual size of it, as stated on the paperwork is about the size of one person being able to sit down.Once again, you do not OWN this piece of land.It’s a novelty type of gift. It is unique.

This is such an entertaining gift. I don't understand it entirely. I guess we earn the right to go to the land but I'm not sure that we actually own that piece of land. Still, it seems pretty cool and a little comical that we can say we own a piece of England, the home country. What you get is a little declaration that you can frame that says that you own a piece of land. When you scan the QR code, it brings up pictures of the land and shows you a plot map where the plot is stationed. Then they talk about how you can bring a picnic and come have a picnic on your land or stare at the stars on your land or whatever. It's pretty cute and an ingenious way to celebrate someone with a unique gift. I am not quite sure if we are the only ones that own this little plot or if it was put out to many people at the same time. I'm thinking they are probably betting no one is actually going to go to these places or if you do, it will be just you and not at the same time as all the other people who got the same plot. I don't know...but it's still cute and we still will hang it on the wall. And if anyone asks, we own land in England and we can show you the deed. Ha.
