Lamp didn't work & I returned it, I decided not to get a replacement as it didn't meet my expectations of quality.

Very pleased with this lamp which is not too big and give a lovely light for my lace making.

The media could not be loaded.  This is a very nice lamp that we got for our daughters room and she loves it. It is very bright and very easy to use (see video).There are 3 power switches in total. A physical on/off switch on the base to switch the entire lamp power off and on.Then there is an inner power soft/touch button to cycle the white light through low/medium/high/off brightness.Lastly there is an outer touch switch to control the coloured base, where short press is on/off and long press is to switch to auto-colour switching mode.The colour ring is also very easy to use to manually switch the base to a specific colour. Our daughter is 6 and can use all of this fine without any instruction.One aspect that would be good would be the ability to control the brightness of the coloured base, similar to the white LED light. We find as a nightlight the coloured base can be too bright (lights the entire room up no problem), so we position it so as to reduce the brightness into the room (place in a corner, behind something, or behind the curtain etc).We've charged it up once since purchasing and it is still going after 1 week or light/medium use, so the batterry is plenty ample for the product. IT comes with a standard mini-usb charging cable, but with no charging plug.The lamp itself feels very sturdy and appears to be a high quality item. Very pleased with it and so is my daughter.

If you read a lot of books, like me, you can never have enough of reading lamps and this one is indeed lovely to behold, as it has quite a few features that make it stand out from the crowd. The first is its ability to be freestanding once charged, thereby freeing the user from the constraints of a fixed plug. That way you can use it as if it were a lantern or torch. This makes it very handy for looking in a loft, for example. It is charged via the USB socket on the computer or even a wall socket, if you have an adaptor. The head is very bendable, by dint of its silicone neck. This means you can twist and turn it until you find a suitable setting. The light is very bright, although you do have the option of adjusting it to a lower setting. I know some people are attracted to the different colours it gives out, but, for me, I fail to see the point in this, as it is mainly for reading. Reading in a coloured light will just be bad for your eyes. Still, I am sure some will like this aspect, as it does create a nice ambient sense when set to a green or fresh pink. Overall this is a decent light that is well worth the money.

The LED light arrived nicely protected in a printed cardboard box. Along with the lamp and some instructions there was also a USB lead (approx 80cm long) for charging (no charger is supplied).The base of the lamp is 13 cm diameter and with the lamp head bent over horizontal to the stand the height is approx 30cm. First impressions were very positive, the lamp is good quality and has a nice smooth tactile feel. The lamp was easy to charge, one end plugged into the lamp's base and the other into my existing mobile phone charger (or I could have used a USB socket on my computer).The base shows a red LED while charging which turned to green once complete.As I didn't read the instructions first (too impatient to see the colours!) I didn't notice the on/off switch on the underside but once switched on I wasn't disappointed! The lamp is very easy to position using the flexible neck. On the top of the base there are 2 touch sensitive controls, the inner one controls the LED light (low, med, max and off) and gives a very usable bright clean white light. The outer coloured ring illuminates the whole base in any colour you pick from the ring (or can be switched off completely).As this is a rechargeable lamp I found it was being used in a number of places where I wouldn't normally have used a lamp and it has proved extremely versatile. For a hobby light/night light/reading light this is perfect!!! The rainbow colour base looks so amazing, and I have not decided on my favorite colour as yet! This base colour can also be turned on without the main lamp being on.My only gripe is other family members keep borrowing this and each evening I'm playing "hunt the lamp".In summary - great quality, extremely useful and easy to recommend and I love it!* I kindly received this lamp from the seller for testing.
