Very impressed with the added image stability this provides. Allows for a little more margin of error when doing long walking shots or tracking shots. Build is mostly plastic, outside of the spring and other few metal components. The little Velcro strap that holds everything when closed feels high quality, a bit more high quality than the product itself. Overall, it utilizes, at least to my eyes, a similar design to how Steadicam systems incorporate the z axis for stabilization (not entirely but the spring system in this gives me memories to Steadicam class back in film school). To create this for a compact camera is pretty neat, and as mentioned before, gets you pretty close to similar results. Due to the size of everything though, you should still try to move smoothly when using this, as making heavy motions will still affect the image. Plus due to the already wide focal length, it might be best to do a little bit of a digital zoom in (possibly to 1.2 or 1.3x) and see if that can assist as well. Don't know if zooming in brings some digital stabilization but not a bad thing to try. Overall, worth the price and gets the job done. Also the baggie it comes with is superb!

Did not eliminate the "Osmo bounce" as I had hoped that it would.

This gimbal stabilizer is an inexpensive option that provides fourth axis stabilization I find it really helps to reduce the bounce produced from walking. In addition to reducing the bounce it provides a good amount of protection for my camera. There's also three locations with quarter 20 holes and there's a padded area that provides protect for the camera screen. With so many functions I find this stabilizer very useful and it has a slide that adjust the tension of the spring that allows for adjusting the counterbalance for the weight of the camera. The stabilizer is made of plastic but I do find the plastic to be durable.

The stabilizer is well-built, holds the Osmo Pocket 3 securely, and definitely improves video stabilization. However, there’s one major downside — my Osmo with the large external battery doesn’t fit into the stabilizer. That was really disappointing, since I intended to use it in that configuration. If you plan to shoot with an additional battery, keep this in mind. Other than that, it works well and feels solid — a good choice for the standard Osmo Pocket 3 setup.

Amazing gadget. My camera has a built in stabilizing software, but it doesnt work that great when it comes to me going up and down stairs. By using this handheld stabilizer, I did see a huge improvement. The thing I love the most about this gadget is the it doesn't require batteries and it is super easy to use.

Just doesn't really serve a function other than extending away a little, only more cumbersome and uncomfortable to hold. Pocket just doesn't handle shakes well and this would not alleviate the problem. Ease of use brings it down to two stars. Looks and functions as described but like I stated, its design with the spring, while well intentioned doesn't actually improve what camera gimble already does.

Eliminated all the shakes and jitters and I take this everywhere, especially for motion video,love it

Quality: Quality is okayish. It’s not very sturdy but not very weak. Looks brittle in nature but i might be wrong. Overall, from a product perspective, at this price , they could have used aluminium at least for quality. It’s just a spring and some nicely thought of design which if you think about it, is almost 10-15x margin to the company, they could have done better. Good thing about it that it works as expected.
