This is perfect for postoperative, I like the double velcro to be able to separate my drain. And there is the extra type for more support. This is great as just a waist trainer as well. Very comfortable and hides well under your clothes. Measurements are true to size chart. I purchased a Medium, I'm 145 pounds 5'2"

This product seems really well made & is quilted-like in portions..which I feel makes it not quite as *medical grade unattractive:) the amount of compression avail seems good.I purchased the s/m (33" waist 130lbs), I was able to get it snug, but I'd say if you are a *thin build - something a size down may fit better w/out so much extra & overlapping fabric.Overall though, It seems to be quality product that I'd recommend.

I bought this to use after my surgery. I only used it a few times because it compressed just a little too much for me. If you want max compression this is a must buy. It is big but overall pretty comfortable, again I only wore it a couple of times and it was for a few hours. I just had surgery and the compression was just too much for my liking. The quality is good, durability is good and the price isn’t too bad.

I bought this to use post tummy tuck and it's comfortable, very supportive, reduces pain, super adjustable, and easy to wash.I do wish it was a longer length. I am tall (5'8") and have a very long torso so it's about 3 inches too short.. other than that, I have no complaints!For reference, I was a size 14/15 pre-tummy tuck and I wasn't sure on the sizing whether I should get a Large or Extra Large.. I ended up getting the Large. The XL would've been too big on me. I bought this after my tummy tuck and it's perfect. I'm gonna be wearing my binder for 2 months so I will be ordering another so I can wear one while washing the other.Also, shipping was super fast!So yeah, just buy it! (:

I love this binder for many reasons, and it was the smartest recovery purchase I've made! The belly binder that I came home with from the hospital (after hysterectomy and complete pelvic floor reconstruction) kept flipping up at the bottom of the abdomen. It was one long rectangle with Velcro and was more like a giant ace bandage. I needed more support to just BREATHE, so I ordered this one, and it is perfect.There is boning in the back that helps support your lower back, that's very important to recovering from an abdominal surgery.The micro velcro on this binder is wonderful, because it provides secure positioning, but it's easy for you to remove. The "hook" side of the Velcro also doesn't pill up and frazzle the "eye" side like bigger Velcro does.The two bands that are secured from the center in the back that wrap around to the front of the abdomen can be positioned according to your needs is great. You can pull it as tight as you feel you need to, and position it to offer comfortable support.The sizing is fairly spot-on, so don't order thinking that you need a larger size due to swelling. It's adjustable, so if you are within ranges of the size, get the one that you would normally wear.The stitching and construction is VERY sturdy and high-quality. For the price point, you should not pass up this product if you're looking to find a belly binder pre-surgery, or if you find yourself like me and needed something of better quality than the hospital sends you home with.

I order for my postpartum belly and happy about it. I'm size small, 5'3 in height weighing around 90 pounds afterbirth so I ordered small. It took me a week to finally use it because 24 hours afterbirth my belly was still big for size small so I used a larger belly wrap until I could use this one. It fits well and very comfortable, if you size up you can always adjust it with straps
