I have had hpv for 30 years it's impossible the test said I was negative. It says 14 types the results were from 2 only. Save your money.

This is great that people have the option to test for HPV at home. It’s less expensive for me to do this than go to the doctors office. For convenience, cost, and ease - I rate 5/5. I’m docking it a point for a few reasons: Amazon did NOT put this in a discrete package. The product came in the manufacturer’s package on my doorstep. Mind you, it says “STDHero” on it, and everyone is able to read what this test is for. That was a little embarrassing as I live in an apartment complex! -also, I live in California. It appears the lab is in Georgia so I’m sure it’s faster for East Coast people but for me took a bit longer. I’m not sure if the mailing time (took 5 days for the lab to receive my sample) impacts the quality of the sample and reliability of the test. If the lab had an associated lab on the west coast that would be ideal.

It's a scam. I received the test kit and sent it back. Never heard from them. Don't waste your money.

Inside, everything was neatly organized: instructions, swabs, prepaid mailer, and just enough sterile-looking stuff to make you feel like a responsible adult. Swabbing was straightforward, but let’s be honest—it’s not exactly glamorous. I followed the instructions to the letter, sealed my sample, and sent it off like a tiny biological package of hope. Then the waiting began. I refreshed my email obsessively for days, envisioning my sample lost in a postal black hole. After what felt like an eternity, the results finally arrived. Negative. Woohoo! Cue the celebratory snack. While the process was mostly easy, the radio silence during the wait was agonizing. I get it—science takes time, but a little "we’ve received your sample" confirmation wouldn’t hurt. Also, let’s talk about how nerve-wracking it is to trust a piece of mail with something so important. What if it got delivered to my neighbor by mistake? Overall, it did the job, but the emotional rollercoaster wasn’t ideal. If I ever need another test, I might try something that feels less like sending a message in a bottle.

I love that there are options for at-home testing, and this kit couldn't be any easier. I wasn't sure if I was vaccinated as a child (my mother couldn't recall either) so I figured why not give this a try. The instructions are easy, and this kit can be used for males or females, there are 2 options to collect a sample. I sent mine on a Wednesday (the same morning I took the sample) but it didn't arrive until Monday. I got my results on Tuesday. I'd suggest doing this on a Monday, maybe Tuesday at the latest in the week, so you don't get stuck waiting for the weekend to go by. I did mine first thing in the morning but they include instructions and you can also go to their website to read more. You get everything you need to mail your sample in, prepaid label etc. It really couldn't be any easier, and I am glad I got it! You can't go wrong in my opinion.

Test is for hpv. No blood sample is taken and no urine sample either. All they give you is a swab. How is that supposed to get you accurate results?
