Good quality and value
Great looking product for the money but unfortunately I don’t get to use it as once delivered I realised it wasn’t suitable for my needs.

Just stopped working.
Disappointed. It arrived with partially charged batteries, I put a bit of charge in them. All paired up, no problem, lasted about 45 minutes of our village quiz, just stopped working without any warning. Assume batteries had gone flat, my problem, fortunately I had a spare wired mic. Fully charged up before next quiz (tonight), worked fine for about 1 hour, just stopped working. Batteries definitely not flat, was still paired up, just not producing any sound. Again, replaced with wired mic, carried on with the quiz. Unfortunately, 3 days too late to return, so it will probably land up at the recycling centre.

Great balance, easy to pair
I ordered the Talomen Wireless Microphone to use on both Zoom when I host events and also on a podcast. It has a lovely feel, unlike the bulky receiver which felt a much cheaper quality. The sales page mentions needing AA batteries but there are 2 rechargeable 1200Ah ICR batteries in the box which are used instead, 1 for the mic and 1 for the receiver. They were easy to pair, just switch on and, once the green lights on both devices stop flashing, they're paired. I did have a problem with the green light flashing on the mic on a regular basis but don't know if that's a sign the mute button's on and I just had to keep switching it off and back on to stop that as a simple press or long press didn't always connect it which was annoying. I really like the fact that the large black and white receiver has a smaller 3.5mm jack which fits over the 6.35mm jack if needed. Despite using adaptors and the receiver being recognised by both a MacBook and an iPad, the mic just didn't work in any app or website, including Zoom, that I tried. I've had other external mics which did work so wonder if this is a faulty microphone, especially as other reviewers managed to work it with Macs. It's hard to score it as I don't know whether it's faulty or an adaptor issue, although it was clearly recognised by both machines and that means that I can't judge it on sound quality but it has a lovely feel to it and is well-balanced, far more comfortable to hold than some mics I've used over the years and, based on that and the extra jack, plus the fact that it kept flashing and having to be switched off and on and the cheap-feeling and looking receiver, it's 3* – but please read reviews where their mic worked

Surprisingly good.
We've never owned a mic of this type before and through the joys of Vine we've been able to get started with this one. Myself and my girlfriend are not musicians, nonetheless my girlfriend does have in my opinion a great voice and tends to scare off other singers on a karaoke. I thought this would be nice to try so that she can sing her favourite songs at home to backing tracks and using audacity I could mix the two and let her have her very own cover versions for ourselves. Now for the mic, it appears very well made and feels quite premium, the receiver feels a little cheaper though but it's good enough for the job. Both come with removable rechargeable batteries ✅ in the box you'll also find a non slip mic ring, foam windscreen, jack adaptor and USB A to USB C cable ✅ (hooray no micro USB) Set up was very easy, after charging it's just plug and play. Plugging in to my laptop 3.5mm mic input I am able to record from this mic (I use Audacity for windows) whilst a separate program plays music over BT to her headphones, so easy and simple without expensive specialist equipment, after saving the files I can then mix them, brilliant! As previously mentioned we don't have any music industry experience, a pro might have a different opinion about the mic, its quality and the sound quality but for us it is fantastic. We've not tested the maximum range yet but it works flawlessly so far up to 30 feet, we've not tried it any further, maybe on a party night in the near future. My only disappointment is the instruction leaflet, whilst multilingual, it does not explain very much, for example why is the screen on the mic flashing? what are the flashing states on the receiver? Why does a quick press of the mic power button turn it on/off and connect when the instructions state "press and hold for 3 seconds" other than that it's all good and at £27.99 we feel it's great value. Five stars unless it suddenly fails us in which case I'll update.
