Fantastic value for money and worked instantly
So we cant get fibre broadband where I am due to the fact we live very close to a railway crossing, this means they will need to get permission from network rail I believe and pay a good sum of money to have it installed / potential partial road closure with network rails permission. They do not have fibre access points from about 6 houses down from the crossing so....I decided to go with 4G home broadband, and i can say there is absolutely nothing wrong with 4G home broadband and is a lot faster and more reliable than the old copper line (which they are doing away with and not maintaining). So you need to do your research on the best speeds for where you are so i recommend getting a few free sims and trying them out with a speed test in multiple areas in the home first. Once you know which is fastest look into getting an external antenna in conjunction with a decent router. This is what i am currently running and i am pulling in about 30 meg at good times of the day and it does not go lower than 10 meg unless its really congested.I am using 4G in a smart home with about 22 WIFI lights and lots of smart plugs and gadgets and its more than enough to run the whole home (i am using a mesh network too which seemed to speed things up after installation). All in all this is fantastic value for money and it worked with my router straight away with ZERO fuss, and now i don't have to worry about an internet bill until 2025. it works out around £11 a month which i mean.... your not going to get those speeds for that money with this little hassle. Its a no brainer for me and i will be using these guys again as its just been amazing for me so far.Speeds are decent (again depending which network you choose EE in my case) and i would say minimal fuss but it was zero fuss setting up, i just plugged the sim in and that was about the extent of the fuss...Scancom are a fantastic company so far and they have proper customer service lines you can speak to. They really are doing me a solid at the moment with their fantastic prices, keep this up Scancom and you will for sure have a repeat customer out of me!

Works fine, you may need to ring them on a number not intended for support.
This stopped working after 3 months, however Scancom were helpful (once the robotised support system was navigated) and provided a replacement which is working OK. Thanks go to Keith Mistry of Scancom who was very helpful.

Worked OK for 2 maybe 3 months
Bought this 600gb i believe every month and it expires on March 2026, first month fine, second month fine but think I may have ran out of data, third month I managed to get a windows update out of it and about 60gb.. I did t use this all the time I have a netgear mr2100 (m2) router for when out and about, I was attempting to use this for gaming but the speeds were not great I had an ee contract before I bought this and I was getting about 4x the speeds that this sim was getting, I contacted scancom in the first month and they said it was ee full speed and it definitely was not. Anyways stopped working completely less than 5 months in, I reached out to scancom first who always sent back an automated response but no human interaction like I got when I first bought the product. Contacted amazon and they refunded straight away, 5 stars to amazon for this. I was worried when buying this that it might stop after a few months and it seems I was right, other than that I don't think the speeds and latency are what you would expect from EE, anyways you do get what you pay for in this case.

Works out of the box
This is a much cheaper way of buying mobile data than endless contracts. This is used for a home router that we take to different places. It worked immediately out of the box - no need for any set up. Easily achieved 120mb speed on a 4g router, exceeding previous Vodafone and Three SIM cards and even our 70mb landline !Effortless service, many thanks.

eSIM not SIM card - read listing carefully
This is an esim, I didn't realise in my haste to order (as their other listing for the same item is for an actual sim). Took a while to get hold of Scancom, however they are sending out a physical sim today. This is our second data sim from Scancom, hopefully this one will be just as good as our last.

Great Value and Decent Support (Email Only)
OK so the price alone makes their offers worth it in every way.I read some of the negative reviews on here and was genuinely worried, I needn't have been.Their customer service isn't quite there yet in that they don't want to take support over the phone, but I can understand this, as whenever there is a problem with a sim, they will need the sim number, order number and other key details. Their employee would no doubt be waiting around whilst the lesser sighted of us scramble to find a magnifying glass and read the numbers off the nano-sim.I had a problem, emailed them with all the details they would need, had a response in just over an hour, they had spoken to EE and were sending me out a new sim next day via DPD, and offered me a little something extra to make up for the inconvenience. For the amount I have saved, I am really happy with this and can live without instant phone support.

Very good deal and very helpful vendor
Arrived quickly and worked exactly as described. EE did a network update a few weeks later and I suspect that this damaged the SIM card and it became inoperative. However I got in touch with the vendor and they were excellent, replying within 24 hours to my email and they quickly sent a replacement, even giving me an extra couple of weeks free. Highly recommended and I will definitely be buying again from this seller.

Poor customer service m
Item was possibly ok. However, I mistakenly ordered the wrong item. I needed a physical sim card. I had no idea that an e sim wasn't a physical thing. I had no idea how I could run my router from this. Whilst I admitted it was entirely my own fault, all I wanted was a bit of advice. Scancom unfortunately didn't want to help at all ,so I was left with something of no use to myself. A few words of advice would have gone a long way.
