Currently running three monitors with zero problems. Most importantly for me is that it worked with Chromebooks and Chromeboxes (not all of them do!) It stays cool to the touch and is very small and thin. Easy to tuck up under your desk (like I did) or for travel. I did a ton of research before I settled on this one and very glad I did. Don't hesitate to give it a shot!

Great quality, great value, has all the ports I need.

My first UGREEN product. Not going to be my last, but wanted an extra usb c dock to hook up to my computer. It has everything on there, except for a ethernet port. It gets a little warm under load, but not hot at all. It has plenty of IO to use for your dongle life. There is one minor complaint, but that will come later. For the amount they asking for, I'd say go for it. It's not much breaking the bank, especially when your UGREEN device is backed by a warranty. The build quality is solid. No complaints. Full on metal, with a long braided usb c cord. For it's price, it's worth the buy. Now, onto my minor complaint. It's usb c port doesn't function like it's supposed to, despite the fact it was designed to operate at usb 3.2 speeds.

Small, lightweight, variety of I/O ports. Excellent for travel, which is why I purchased it. I needed extra USB-C ports, DP and HDMI ports. Simple plug-n-play. No more than 3mins to get everything up and running. Barely gets warm to the touch, so no need to worry about overheating. Brushed aluminum case offers durability and scratch resistance. If you're always on the go and need to plug into an external monitor every now and then, this is the hub for you.

This hub is fantastic. I bought two to hang off the M4 Mac Mini. Super fast, easy to use, and well made. As I’m using two, I can get dual monitor support via the DisplayPorts without any extra software and not have it just mirrored. One monitor is connected to each. I’ve also hung my prior USB3 docks off of these to allow for even more expandability. For reference, I have the hubs attached to the USB-C/3 ports on the Mini. Not the Thunderbolt 4 port, as this isn’t a Thunderbolt dock.

As the Buisness Office, I need multiple monitors for my laptop. This allows me to use two monitors with my one laptop. Works as needed.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This does work for HDMIs, but would lose signals from PC to monitors several times a day. If did not support power input without causing the monitors to flicker. It does not support USB C to Ethernet adapter from UGreen for internet. I tried all the USB Cs with no luck of any internet connection. I contacted their support telling them all that I had tried and that I was using their USB C to Ethernet 5GbE adapter and after 24+ hours they would ask a question, I gave all the details about this issue, and then replied with an answer to their question with only getting another question another 24+ hours later. This were on for 3-4 times before I asked again if this 8 in 1 supported internet communication only to get another question or a statement that they do not offer a 2GB/s adapter. Not sure why they stated this, I never asked about 2GB/s. Returning all UGreen items I bought to amazon for a refund since their support was nothing for asking questions. No offer of support, nothing that helped. I will no longer be buying UGreen products.

While the construction of this docking station is impressive, it did not work as advertised regarding dual monitors. For this reason, I returned it.

After only four months of use, the HDMI output stopped working. When I contacted Amazon, they redirected me to the seller. The seller is highly unprofessional—requesting unnecessary videos and footage, and once it became clear the product was faulty, they simply referred me back to Amazon. Amazon, in turn, sent me back to the seller. This is an unserious company that takes no responsibility for after-sales support. The product performs well as long as it works, but when it fails, you are left without support or a solution. Good product until it breaks. Once it does, you are on your own. Buyer beware.

product only allows for screen mirroring on a macbook. when plugged in, the second monitor isn't recognized separately, so there is no option for individual settings. instead, the second monitor simply mirrors the first. and to make matters worse, it distorts the colors on my AOC monitor. I wish I'd kept the box to send it back, this product is basically useless.
