The Mothca Matte Glass Screen Protector for iPad Air 11-inch exceeded my expectations. Installation was straightforward with clear instructions, and the fit is precise. The matte surface provides a smooth finish, reduces glare and fingerprints while maintaining excellent screen clarity. The product is well-priced and performs exactly as described. My only minor critique is that the packaging, while protective and attractive, felt excessive for such a simple item. Overall, a great purchase and highly recommended.

The Bad: Watch and especially listen to my video and you'll see (and hear) that the Mothca Matte Glass Screen Protector is not made of glass at all. The product description specifically lists its material as "tempered glass". It's not. It's some type of plastic. Now that I've gotten that out of my system: The Good: The screen protector does have a matte finish which I love because it all but eliminates glare at most angles. It's a multi-function screen: Protection, anti-glare, and smudge-resistant (at least appearance-wise). The Great: This isn't my first screen protector to include a kit that makes perfect alignment simple, but it's a much bigger screen than a phone, so a kit like this matters much more with a tablet. It allows for an almost fool-proof installation. I did initially see a few bubbles under the protector but I fairly easily eliminated them using a thin but stiff plastic card. I would have rated this product at a solid five stars, but I just can't get past it being called glass when it's clearly (pun intended) not. I don't think it's really inferior to glass, but the seller should really temper (another pun, sorry) expectations by listing the real material it's made of.

LOVE THIS! No seriously, this is so much better than those paper like screen protectors/films since this is an actual thick piece of glass, its so much more protective and not as rough as the paperlike film protectors so it’s so much more functional. Really easy to apply, especially with the frame they give you.

I’m actually really impressed. The protecter is super nice, on the clear side of matte but it’s matte non the less. A good option if you’re on the fence about going the matte protector route due to less sharpness. I don’t really experience any drop in clarity. But the real win here is when I was putting it on (in my house with one hairy dog) in no fault of the protectors installation method but everything to do with my hairy roommate I got a big hair right in the middle under the protector and it was driving me nuts. I reached out to them through Amazon messages and they replied right away and said “no problem, will send you out a new one free of charge” and included a link to a video of installation. The next day a brand new screen protector showed up. That’s customer service right there. It was all my fault and they still came through to make sure I was happy. I’ll only buy protectors here from now on. Good product excellent service. This is an unaffiliated review too. Just a normal guy giving credit where credit is due. Buy here.

This screen protector worked amazing. I dropped my tablet on the concrete, and when I picked it up, I saw cracks, and initially I thought my screen cracked until I looked closer and realized that all of the damage was on the screen protector. On initial installation, I did have some bubbling and lint under the screen, but I do believe that was a user Error because i'm never very good at Putting them on. I like the satin finish of the screen protector and the Matte finish, it works really well in the Sun There's no glare i line in the desert & read outside a lot. The fit was perfect. I will be purchasing again since I actually do need a new one now.

I was excited to try this screen protector because I'd heard good reviews about drawing with it...unfortunately, it turned out to be overpriced garbage, and the installation was a nightmare. FIRST the "easy installation frame" was too big & would pop off at the slightest touch. THEN the screen protector itself was too big for the frame!! so halfway through installing it, I had to take the frame off & try to readjust the screen protector, which was the perfect opportunity for tons of dust to fly in. I've installed lots of screen protectors and NEVER had so many bubbles. What's the point in an "easy installation frame" if nothing is actually the right size???

I bought it for my daughter not realizing it was a matte one, but now i really want the matte one for myself. I love the way it feels and it was so easy to install. I'm terrible at installing them so that it from me. It has held up to a child that breaks everything. in 2026 so far we've replaced her phone screen 4 times. however she brings her tablet everywhere and it is still going strong! no bubbles, and smooth.

Impressed by this protector. Applying the screenprotector was really easy. I took the matte version and there is no reflection at all. Not sure if it soms the brightness of the colors as I applied it before starting the tablet for the first time. The s pen feels like scratching over paper, which is fine as well. Considering buying one for my smartphone as well.

If you use your tablet for reading or have any issues with glare at all, this is the ticket! It works amazing and changed how I felt about my tablet as a whole.
