Does not have an S trap which may be required by your local inspector. Mine is just replacing existing plugged pipes so I used it to see if it would stop sewer gas/smells. It's been installed for 3 weeks now and works fine for my plumbing system. Ive noticed that the flapper will open and draw air when there's a vacuum in the system...makes a little noise. Existing heavy wall pvc was leaking and partially plugged. It took longer to remove what was there than to install the new. No glue. All seals are silicon...so just clean everything...assemble....hand tighten...all good. Im an experienced plumber so it was pretty simple job for me. It takes up a whole lot less space...which is what I was looking for.

I wouldnt use it as a permanent fixture, but it is easy to use and definitely gets the job done. My old sink pipes came apart from the previous owner and this arrived fast and fit like a charm.

This is a present I purchased for a friend. I had bought this same type unit for my kitchen and installed it myself so I know it's ease of installation and the quality of the drainage unit. I am positive she will be as pleased with this unit as well as I am.

CAN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO MAKE 1/4 INCH PER FOOT DROP Toward DRAIN ..IT is LEVEL now BEWEEN THE 2 SINKs NOT GOOD,,CRUD WILL TEND TO BUILD UP AND EVENTUALLY NOT DRAIN WELL.. PARTS AT LOCAL HARDWARE P[LACES ARE NOT SAME DESIGN ... I NEED TO CRATE A DROP maybe get a A TAIL PIECE TO LOWER ONE SIDE SO WATER WILL DRAIN that works with your existing sink connector only on one side .. ,,CAN I BUY IT FROM YOU ? This trap allows you to regain use of your undersink cabinet. I have installed many different type of dual sink drains and this one is by the far the best. It is very low profile and easy to assemble.

Everything fits together well and it can be adjusted to fit many different configurations. It will help to free up space if the drain system is in the center of the floor or on the left side. In my case, it won't offer me much space savings as I need to run the lower flexible drain pipe back the full length to the right side in order to reach the drain installed in the wall. I also cannot reverse it to gain space since I have my dishwasher on the left side that will need to be attached and only the left side has additional connection points. (I am referring to my left and right while facing the sink.) It is a well-made drain pipe for double sinks. Even though it will not offer me much space savings because of my type of setup, I still plan to use it once I get an adapter for my dishwasher. The one thing I really like about this pipe kit is the trap that closes when no water is flowing; that will really help to prevent smells coming out of the drains that tend to occur in U-shaped traps. I also like that the trap is see through, letting you know when it is time to clean it.
