Canned Beef Meat 1 28 oz can

I was looking for some kind of beef to use when I didn't want to spend a lot of time cutting up, browning, and braising for a couple of hours.I bought one of these cans to try out (bought 2 more after cooking with it, it was so good!).Sauteed some chopped onion and celery in olive oil, with a little garlic powder, black pepper, and sage. Added a couple of tablespoons of the liquid from the can of beef as the onion and celery cooked. Once the vegs were done, added the beef and remaining liquid, more garlic and sage, sprinkle of parsley, a little thyme, and a tiny, tiny pinch each of cinnamon and clove powder (really! - this adds an amazing depth to the flavor of beef). Simmer to let it cook down and thicken a bit. No extra salt needed, the beef already has a good balance.Served this over fluffy white rice with lightly buttered peas on the side.Really really good - lots of beef in the can, perfectly pre-cooked, tender, juicy - a very satisfying meal.About 40 minutes to prepare. Serves 2-3.Could perhaps add carrots, or use a canned mirepoix, but I think fresh veggies are better and don't take that much prep time.Probably all more than you needed to know, but I thought an example was the best illustration of how good I think this product is.

You really need to have this on hand, when you need a quick fix, you can reach for it and enchiladas are made so much faster, and a quick beef stew, so many things you can do
