VVKB Apollo-V1 Parking Heater 12V 2.5KW FCC CE RoHS

My experience with the VVKB Company, and the heater are good. I chose the slower delivery option as I knew I would not get any opportunity to fit the heater immediately but still received delivery within 30 hours of ordering, the item came well packed. The 26 page installation manual is well written and thought out with good diagrams. The control unit is quite sophisticated but remains easy-to-use, thoughtfully the wiring loom plug is half assembled so you don’t have to drill a big hole, and is supported by a simple online video showing how to assemble it. On the VVKB website there are informative videos on installation, servicing and fault finding. VVKB responded to a technical question fully and properly in less than 24 hours.I have installed the heater as a replacement for an existing heater on a boat using a marine grade exhaust and combustion air inlet silencers and did not use the standard fitting kit. The new heater is noticeably more powerful than the predecessor. Electrical power consumption is moderate. With a 14 V supply: on start-up current peaks briefly at 9 A and then drops off. In boost heating mode (2.5KW) heater draws 1.9 amp, in power mode (2KW) 1.4amp, at medium heat (1.5Kw) 1 amp, and a low head (1Kw) 0.6amp. The heater also seems quite a lot quieter than many similar heaters, especially at medium and low heat.We are very pleased with the upgrade and the comfort it delivers aboard.

stressed for weeks choosing a heater, I was not prepared to get a cheap China one, told my partner I would feel safer, as the reviews are excellent . so I bought it. sadly this week we have had to buy a new pump for it, my partner was working away when we had the snow few weeks back came to use the heater, shock not working.

been using this now for about 4 months and it's great. easy to fit and use.
