Based on the 2007 book "Bad Luck and Trouble," season two finds Reacher reuniting with members of his old U.S. Army MP unit to find out who murdered one of their comrades. But could they all be in danger? With Maria Sten, Serinda Swan, Shaun Sipos, Ferdinand Kingsley, and Robert Patrick.8 episodes. 6 1/4 hrs. Widescreen; Soundtrack: English. Review: Loved it! ALMOST as good as Season 1! - Love the intelligent action, the very good martial arts (note I said "very good", not "stupendous"), the great straight-up, clean filming, and the plot that continually develops throughout the "Season". It's really one long movie, not a "season" of episodes, which allows it to develop much better than formula 45-minute pieces. In general the martial arts are very good, though the repeated back-and-forth long-range head butts are annoying. Also, how did those 4 beat up an entire biker gang, especially with no significant injuries? A little bit unbelievable there. But some great individual moves and sequences. I do love the realism of many of the moves. (Nothing, well little, is more of a let-down than action movies with stars who have to fake their way through non-believable fight scenes... and Reacher is fabulous, far above the crowd, in this respect!) They should show this team TRAINING to keep up fighting skills like that. And how does Reacher stay in shape? (I mean the CHARACTER. I know how the actor stays in shape!) Seriously, Reacher (the CHARACTER) hardly even eats (1 good meal in this whole series). He doesn't workout. Seriously, we never see him do 1 pushup, let alone anything else the (GREAT) actor obviously does in a gym. Plot-wise, I thought season 2 opens more slowly than Season 1 did, it takes a few episodes to build up, whereas Season 1 had me thinking "THIS is REALLY COOL!" from Episode 1. (Check my other reviews, I don't exactly give out 5-star reviews like candy. Well, I don't give out candy at all, but that's another story. But I RARELY give out even 4, let alone 5 stars.) Also, Season 1 is a little spicier. I was literally SO HAPPY, for DAYS, when in Season 1, Reacher finally got together with (now I'm not going to spoil the plot here!), but in Season 2, I mean of course it made perfect sense, but still they missed some heat that should have been there. (In case it wasn't clear, I'm talking about love & romance & ladies here.) For its slow beginning, Season 2 MIGHT have a slightly splashier climax / finale (maybe), but I still liked Season 1 a bit better. (Note I'm still giving Season 2 Five Stars! So at least 6 for Season 1! That's from ME, "Mr. 2-Star Review"!) I sure loved the surprise throwback to Sarah Connors in this one! From the T2 villain co-star, no less! Hahahaha! The producers have a sense of humor! IN BOTH SEASON 1 & 2, I LOVE the detective work, the slowly and logically unfolding plot, the usually realistic (if a bit movie-ized) action scenes, and the overall clean-cut style in real America! I SURE HOPE THERE'S A SEASON 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, AND 10 IN THE WORKS! CAN I ORDER THEM NOW? KEEP THAT 5-STAR WORK ROLLING!!! Review: Fantastic!!!!! - ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT! GREAT PRICE, PERFECT CONDITION!
