Great effective solution to connecting iPhone to either an amp or headphones. The dac is well-reviewed and the sound quality is good

Bought this so that I could use an old guitar iRig input on my new iPad after upgrading and finding no headphone jack on the new one. Had read a few reviews which recommended different types but the iRig website itself said you should be OK with a genuine Apple one so paid a bit extra to get that and it's worked seamlessly since. Have only given 4 stars as the unit itself doesn't seem the most robust and the wires are a bit thin, so not sure how long it will last, but for now it's doing the job

Have had it for a number of months and it has not broken on me, seems to be durable despite the reputation some Apple products get for durability, not the cheapest on the market but also of better quality than some I have seen, the wire is soft compared to being rigid which makes it a lot more convenient especially when having the phone in the pocket. Does not seem to affect sound quality at all when in use.

Of all the USB-C to 3.5mm adapters I've bought over the years, this is the *only* one that doesn't cut out, crackle, mess with the audio quality or volume, or stick into my leg when my phone is in my pocket. It works, it's excellent, and you'll probably never need to get another of these adapters. Worth every penny.

Sadly : Doesn’t work for calls if you have earphones with a mic. Works in all other scenarios. Why can’t it just work like the lightning version of this dongle. Moved to iPhone 16 pro plus and as I like many of my wired earphones. The ones with mics just don’t work for calls. Sound defaults to the phone. Sad apple. Hang your heads in shame.
