This was recommended to us by our dermatologist. It has a little bit of a smell to it, but nothing that I can't handle. I use it daily and it keeps my skin super moisturized. I also used it after a pretty bad sunburn and put it on to where it was still white and needed to soak in. While it kept me super moisturized it did have a "sticky" feeling to it from using so much at once but by the 2nd day after my sunburn I was fully tanned and no peeling occurred. When I just use a little bit after each shower I don't get the sticky feeling so it's just when I put on a lot that it made me stick.y

I started using this for my Mom a number of years back and it helped her skin a lot, kept it smooth and soft and handled mild irritation also. I then started using it for myself and really like it for my dry, eczema prone skin. Keeps it smooth with no flakiness or cracks on my feet. I am diabetic and have eczema so need this for very dry skin to keep it healthy. It is on the pricey side BUT once you see how well it works you will be willing and happy to pay the price for this outstanding product. Another side note - if you have cracked heels (like I did) you need to try their Heel Care Cream formula - excellent and helped my feet a ton.

I've struggled with ichthyosis vulgaris (super scaly skin) on my calves and shins my entire life. Other typical lotions, even the most "moisturizing" ones, have never worked in reducing the scaliness or roughness on my legs. Most lotions just sit on top of my skin and don't actually seem to permeate or do much of anything. This is the first lotion I've tried that's actually visibly helped exfoliate my skin, moisturize it, and significantly reduce the visibility of the scales, to the point where my legs look somewhat normal! I honestly never thought this was possible, and have ordered this lotion 9 times over the past few years. It was a staple in my daily routine for actual years. I could also always tell when I ran out of it and had to use another lotion while waiting for a new bottle, because my ichthyosis would visibly return. However, I'm knocking off two stars and I have stopped ordering this lotion due to the awful scent in the past few bottles I've received. :( At first I thought perhaps this was just one bad batch, so I ordered another bottle a few weeks later, only for that one to smell just as bad. I'm not quite sure how to describe it, but the past two bottles I've received have smelled "off" since I got them. They haven't been tampered with or opened, as the safety seals were still intact, but both had this new noticeable "off" smell from the get go. The scent gets worse as you rub it into your skin, and I can smell it on me even after it absorbs. I'm not sure if the formulation has changed, since this never used to be an issue for all the years I've bought this lotion. :( I hope Dermal Therapy figures out this scent issue and is able to reformulate to get back to the older, basically scentless formula (I'm not sure if it was fragrance free, but it didn't have any noticeable scent to me, which I prefer!). If they can do that, this will be a staple in my routine again! For those who don't mind smelling a bit weird to reap the benefits - this formula is amazing and the best thing I've ever tried for my ichthyosis. It isn't cheap, but it works like a dream, if you can get past the scent!

I purchased this to help with KP on my arms. I've used it for about a month now and it seems to have helped a bit but by no means is a miracle worker. I do appreciate that it has made my arms less rough and seems to have helped with the general appearance of the KP. Worth a shot. I think it pairs well with the various KP scrubs out there.

I have very dry flaky skin that is difficult exfoliate. Scrubs, loofas--none of those methods work to remove the dead skin flakes. It's a lifelong problem that has only worsened over the years. This lotion successfully exfoliates and moisturizes all in one application. My skin has never looked nor felt so good. My feet no longer have severely cracked heels and soles! The lotion absorbs very quickly and doesn't leave lingering greasiness. I also use the Dermal Therapy body wash in partnership with the lotion. I am so delighted with both products!

I started using this while I was taking accutane which makes your skin incredibly dry even for someone who has never had dry skin. I had tried cerave, cetaphil, la roche posay and others but I continue to buy this one years after being off of accutane, because it's that good. Smooth, absorbs well, urea odor quickly subsides. Worth the slightly high price to me.

This lotion is amazing! I am l 75 years young. About 6 months ago my skin started to get so flaky especially legs and arms, every day I would use lotion but didn't seem to make much difference. I thought another thing to put up with getting old!! And then I came across this product! I noticed the first week the improvement already, now i am into the second month, flaky skin is gone! Another added bonus is the orange marks on my skin, from sun damage have faded a lot! Very happy.

This one I can use, doesn’t seem to irritate my skin. Not yet anyway.

Could not get past the smell but it does work

This lotion really softens and soothes. I use it twice daily on hands arms, feet and legs. Winter really dries out my skin, so this really helps.

I have sebhorreic keratosis which has resulted in spots all over my legs and arms. Lately, the spots on my legs have gotten dark, raised, and rough. It was unsightly enough that I stopped wearing shorts. So, I ordered a bottle of Dermal Therapy hoping it would help at least a bit. I slathered it on my legs four times a day for a couple of days and then had a shower. I gave my legs a hard, vigorous scrub with a facecloth, and I was absolutely amazed at the results. Most of the dark, rough part of the spots had been scrubbed off, leaving only smooth, lighter coloured spots that are not nearly as noticeable. I can actually wear shorts now and not feel as if everyone is staring at my legs. There are still some rough, slightly darker patches, but if it does this after only two days, I would bet it improves over the next couple of weeks.
