Great cable, buy one now
When you need it, you need it. This 4pin to 6pin firewire cable worked perfectly. Shipped quickly, wasn't too much money, seems well built, I just wish I could have gotten a 3' version from this store but I'll order one in the future.

Nice cable
Used for my older Sony laptop with an s400 port. Powers my glyph drive without ac power. Quality seems good. Time will tell.

Works as intended
Purchased it along with the a PCIe FIREWIRE IEEE 1394 3 Port Controller Card sold by axGear, specifically to digitize Mini DV Tapes from a Canon Optura 20. Works great. No issues as far as I can tell.

Bought this cable cause I was looking to replace one I got in a fire wire card I bought for my computer. After days of not being able to digitize footage, I caved in a bought the cable and it worked first try. High quality, sturdy connection, and the feel of the plug entering the port felt far more secure then previous cables I’ve used. Completely worth it.

The cable works miraculously with SONY DCR-TRV320. After having tried a bunch of different cables I finally managed to transfer my old tapes to HDD. Pretty happy with it, it does the work.
