Just Add Color: Geometric Patterns: 30 Original Illustrations To Color, Customize, and Hang

This is a great coloring book. I have bought it twice, once on Amazon and once at my local Half Price Book Store. The pages are one sided and printed on a good thickness of paper. Pages are perforated for easy removal. Designs are not too small, easy to color with my Sharpie markers. Once I work my way through this book, I will very likely purchase again. I am not sure why this states the book is for a child. I am a 47 year old woman and I love it.

I liked that the drawings allowed for personal color choices. It's amazing how similar they are to drawings I made during long, dull staff meetings (which I got written up for). The drawings in this book take me to a jumping-off space for personal modifications.One odd thing: the book was shrink-wrapped. 6 of the drawings were separate at the end of the book. The rest of them were bound.

This is a cool book that is very fun to color. The geometric patterns have just the right amount of complexity to keep one interested, but still simplistic enough to make a quicker coloring session or one for the younger set. I enjoy the look of the illustrations, hand drawn and a bit rustic. Not your typical swirls and paisley drawings, very modern, chic and minimalist. The edginess of the design really makes one want to use all the colors, colors that are bright, that don't match to create you own piece of pop art. Highly recommended for fun and relaxation.What to expect:Single-sided, perforated pages that easily tear from the book.Some of the drawings overlap the perforation, just a bit. I had no issue with this, I just didn't color to the crease.Really heavy paper which is kind of an exception with books these days. I probably didn't need a piece of paper behind my sheet while working.Fun hand drawn patterns, no realistic art which urges one to go all out with color.

I'm a grown-up who LOVES coloring books- I purchase them, scan the pages, print them out on watercolor paper, and use my watercolors on them. I find it very soothing and relaxing.The "Just Add Color" (specifically the Lisa Congdon series) are some of my favorite new coloring books- each has about sixty pages, single-sided, with about thirty designs per book. The Geometric Patterns book is hand-drawn, so while the patterns *are* geometric in nature (triangles, grids, different shapes connected by straight lines) it still looks organic. Lisa Congdon is brilliant, so I love being able to "color in" her line drawings.I think kids would LOVE this book, too- the designs are not super-simple, but they aren't so complex you need a micro-fine pen and perfect hand-eye coordination. They are just designs that are fun to color (or paint) without having to stress over where to put which color where.Highly recommended!

This book is keeping family members entertained while we are social distancing... Great illustrations that aren't too tiny. The sections for coloring are large enough that you feel like you can actually complete a page compared to some others I've seen (and used.). I have a couple others of these books and I have cut up some of the larger prints into fourths for my second graders to do as mini coloring pages.

I can't stop coloring this book! The drawings are beautiful and fill the entire page. The paper is thick and there is a perforated edged; which I didn't see initially because the book was bound tight. The patterns are so modern and versatile. I colored a page in Halloween/Fall colors and put it in a frame in my living room for the season. You could even make one of pages into a beautifully modern greeting card, or color the group of triangles to look like Christmas trees. I have been using colored pencils on this book, but markers and gel pens would look beautiful as well. I can't wait to get more books by this artist!

This coloring book is of good quality and has a number of interesting patterns and designs. I purchased this as a gift for my wife and she seems to enjoy it. Compared to some other adult coloring books, I feel like the patterns are more simple and better suited for someone who enjoys coloring but doesn't want or need the complexity and intricacies of some of the other books.

Bought this for a gift. Recipient liked it, but thought many of the pages were to basic and plain, but she enjoyed adding extra lines to the artwork. Single page designs, so not so many worries for muddling the coloring.
