Easy to use, looks factory
This was great for mounting a Ring Floodlight Cam on a soffit. I had a preexisting motion light with electrical box on the soffit in an ideal place for the Ring Cam. Unfortunately, Ring designs these flood lights to mount vertically on a wall and does not sell adapters for horizontal mounting. Other installers online will hack the Ring cam and realign the collar but this requires 1) cutting into the housing and 2) align the flood lights so the shrouds are upside down. Not optimal. This bracket was easy to use. I would say the plastic is not as thick as I would hope but it seems to hold the floodlight cam in place without sagging. The price was right versus other brackets online. It matches the color and look of the Ring Floodlight Cam. Glad I purchased.
