I used this Felt Strip, to improve the draft seal around my uPVC front door.
I used this Felt Strip, to improve the draft seal around my uPVC front door. It was a perfect thickness, and type of material, to achieve this. I first cleaned the door frame surface, with Methylated Spirit, to ensure a clean surface, for a good bond. Whilst fitting the Felt Strip, the self adhesive didn't appear to be very sticky, so I used a wallpaper edge roller, to apply some extra pressure, and it now seems to be securely in place. The door is now draft free, apart from one 10mm section, because 5m wasn't quite enough. It is too expensive to buy another 5m role, for just another 10mm, but apart from that, I'm very happy with the effectiveness of the product.
