Good value, nice cloth
Surprisingly good value. The needles are huge and the thread is a little subpar, but not the worst I've had in a kit. The quality of the cloth is high and there was plenty of thread to complete the design. While the instructions were maybe not written by a native speaker, they were understandable and I had no trouble figuring our the designer's intention for what colors/stitches to use where. The four kits had a nice variety of designs, stitches, and colors, suitable for a range of skill levels. Honestly, no real complaints.

I thoroughly enjoyed this kit.
I loved the skill level. Not too complicated, yet still an enjoyable challenge. I'm on my second of the three. The printing is perfect. The color guide is occasionally unclear, and I ran short a strand or two on each project...but it wasn't anything I couldn't work around...but don't waste your thread or you'll run short. I love the colors. They're better in real life. There's even a small stitch (some, not all) guide in each kit, so beginners can start with very little prior instruction. All the materials are great quality. And everything fits into a gallon baggie for waiting-room crafters like me.

Great for grandmas
It turned out to be a great birthday for my 83 year old mom. Perfect size for her hands and it keeps her entertained with something she loves doing. Good amount of materials and the colors of the color theeads are beautiful.

Very beginner friendly
Honestly really impressed with the instructions and kit. I did you tube a couple of stitches but overall this is really great! I have never done this before and I really enjoyed it!

I really liked these. It was great for a learning beginner. Quality was good, and the kit had everything you need. These are beautiful when finished

Basic but ok... a few tips, too
If you are looking for something with only 2-3 basic stitches, this will be fine. But it really is too easy and not much diversity in the stitches. The directions are fine but sometimes they don't tell you what something is supposed to be (what color, stitch, number of threads) so you have to look at other similar areas on the pattern directions. It is fine for what it is, but it is way too basic for me... if you have done some embroidery, this is a good time killer but you really are only doing a few stitch types. It can help with newbies who really want to focus on those alone, though. I do not like how they bundle the threads. They get tangled easily. Do yourself a favor and get embroidery floss bobbins. It will save you time and keep threads from getting tangled. Before you start, put masking tape around the border to keep it from fraying. Wash on short cycle (25 minutes max) delicate settings or handwashing will remove the design once you are done so don't get it wet beforehand. I wasn't sure how well that part would work but it did do a great job.... instructions don't tell you how to wash it so I did a short wash with delicate settings and just some vinegar and some masking tape to prevent frayed edges. The tape was pretty much off but it did a good job keeping the fraying down.

This kit is an amazing value. It comes with a guide to all the stitches that is so easy to follow. The four patterns range from easy to intermediate with extra thread and needles, a threader, scissors, and a large hoop. It’s a a very nice quality kit. A great gift for anyone!

Lots of fun! I almost finish the first one already. The instruction are easy to follow! The colors are a little bit different but i dont really care. The fabric isn't great quality ether but for the price it does the job. I would buy it all over again!
