I really like the hands free feature, the quiet lid closing and the overall look of the can! I had tried a motion sensor can and immediately sent it back as it was glitchy in the area I had put it. So this one meets my every need. Plus I feel is sturdy and nicely made. Have not had to clean yet (so far so good) and will admit it is a little challenging to get out if packed in tightly.

It’s built well and seems to work good at keeping my dog out of the trash. So for that I’m giving it 3 stars.But I can’t understand why the top of the can is smaller than the rest. As I pull up a full bag, it is hard to take out due to the smaller ring around the top. It sometimes rips my bags as I pull it out. It’s a bad design. And the two hinging arms are hard to work with while loading new bags. Not a fan of this trash can. I would not buy another one as it should be easier and quicker to work with.

I initially purchased this trash can cause of the height and width for the side of our kitchen island. But I was pleasantly surprised how easy and simple this trash can has been made to replace the trash liner! No inner plastic can you have to pull out and wrap, tuck, etc. There are 2 metal bars that you slide the top of the liner over, fold down and BOOM all done. No more fighting to tuck the bag around the can and trying to make it perfect if you have OCD. Also love the quality of stainless which shines up amazing with some cleaner!

We purchased this trash can because it is one of the few that is under 34" (the height of our countertop) when the lid is open. It looks nice and the pedal functions well, but that's where the pros end. Other reviewers have mentioned the screws that stick out just far enough inside to snag and rip the bag. I overcame that design flaw by covering the screws with duct tape to create a smooth surface. So far, so good.But we soon realized how difficult it is to remove the full trash bag. Even if you don't press the trash down much as the can is filling up, you will tear the bag as you wiggle, shake, and pull it upward. And the torn bag will still be in the can. The difficulty happens with every bag and it is because of a faulty design. The rim of the trash can is smaller than the rest of the can. They probably thought they were giving you maximum space for trash, but all it really accomplishes is to make it impossible to easily remove the bag. I think giving birth was easier! This is simple physics, people. An item doesn't move through openings that are smaller than the item itself.We have been tempted to go back to our cheap, 20-year-old plastic trash can because of the sheer frustration that attends every attempt to remove trash bags from this can. This design is, literally, garbage.

We were looking to replace our old trash can in the kitchen. The size was perfect and matched the decor of our kitchen. Easy to use straight out of the box and it’s very durable. Very satisfied with our purchase!
