Liquid Leather and Vinyl Repair Kit w/Fabric

I bought this kit to make vinyl repairs to the seats in my boat. It is exactly as it shows: it is about as complete as one can get. It does work well..... it does take some careful - very careful attention to detail as you might have imagined. Careful use of colors can make this about as good as it can get. No, it cannot make a big tear look like it never happened (humor) so make your expectations reasonable. :-)I had 3 small areas of slit/tear of the 1 inch or less variety to prevent from getting larger. It seems pretty close to impossible to make the "perfectly invisible" type of repairs like we all hope to see, and like they will show on TV propagand ads..... even so, this is MUCH better and desired much more than just doing nothing!! I ended up with 3 small "bumps" in the white naugahyde seat covers that look much better to me than a rip or tear/gouge type of thing.... best part? It will stop the tear or hole from getting bigger! So, they could have helped a bit more with instructions and "helpful" type of ideas & materials, so only gave it 4 stars, BUT, I would also bet, that if they gave us more..... well, I am pretty certain the price would be higher too, so this is a reasonable balance.Enjoy and good luck. Well worth the money and then some.I repaired numerous small scratches and a three inch tear in a beige leather couch.You would really have to be looking for somethng before you would notice the repairs.The color of my couch was fairly easy to duplicate.The only complaint I have is that there is not enough white- but then at this price, why not order two kits to get enough white? (a professional wanted $150.00 to repair it)The tear spot looks and feels like it is strong enough to hold up.I would definately order again. AS SEEN ON TV Liquid Leather With Fabric Kit

I was weary after reading some of the other reviews. We have a brown leather couch and I am surprised they don't have brown as a basic color for leather repair, but nonetheless I was able to mix the provided colors to match perfectly and quite effortlessly. I didn't think the process was that difficult and the end result was great. I would prefer if they had more black, white, and offered brown because I am sure those are the most used colors...but it still worked great!

Used on a leather footboard to cover up an area the puppy chewed. I applied several layers to get the finished product to cover evenly and to have a smoth transition to undamaged areas. I was able to match the color and texture almost exactly. Mixing colors is not difficult. The only improvement I recommend is the finish of the product. It dries/cures to a matte finish. This did not match my more shiny finished leather.

the item showed up in regular usps much later than I expected. It was loose in the cardboard box as there was no plastic retail box as the picture in the ad shows. I am starting to get concerned that non Amazon shipped product is turning Amazon marketplace into an EBay. I have not tried it yet but hope it works. Dissappointed by initial reaction.

I bought this to repair my faux leather couch that was black because my cats just LOVE LOVE LOVE to sharpen their claws on my couch when I'm not around. Unfortunately, I think the damage done to my couch by my cats was too great for this repair kit to really help. I'd recommend this for small and insignificant flaws though.

I thought this was great for touch up repairs. My vinyl bench seat started to come apart at the seams and im not able to restitch it. I filled the seam in with some "loctite vinyl glue" and let it dry before i used this kit for repairs. You do have to have some sort of limited artistic skill as they have several colors you have to mix in order to match your own upholstery. Mine, being dark brown, i started with black and mixed in a little brown to get the desired color and i filled this into the damaged area. This product does shrink when it dries so you will have to reapply a second or third coat depending on your application. Mine really did take 24-36 hours to dry so be patient. It doesnt make it look perfect, but certainly close to it.

Not a great product for me. Good instructions, but easier said than done.

The item shown here is not the item we received. The one we received had only 7 ( seven) colours to choose from and I think the picture displayed here is false advertising.
