I’d suggest not waxing under direct sunlight – do it in the shade or in the evening. Apply a thin layer, let it sit for about 30 mins, and then buff it off with a microfiber cloth. The results are really good. My car gets a nice glossy shine, water beads up well for around 3–4 weeks, and it even hides light scratches. Of course, if you wash the car often, the wax wears off faster. But honestly, for the price, this is a worthy investment compared to spending thousands on repainting or compounding.

A LITTLE PREVIEW: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Had been searching for a suitable wax for my car , read a lot of reviews and finally locked onto only paste waxes as they are supposed to be more durable than those liquid ones,finally had to decide between the Turtle super hard shell wax,The new turtle ice wax & the all time favorite, the Formula 1 Carnauba paste wax. Read turtle super hard wax had issues when wiping it off,ice version was way too costly for its actual worth..so the final judgment settled in favor of the Formula 1 carnauba paste wax. The pack came with a foam pad included in the box.The paste application was a cake walk..had prepped my car for it after neatly washing it with the armor wash and wax and drying it completely. I had read certain precautions earlier in certain Auto forums regarding its application procedure that it.. 1.Had to be kept in shade for application (no harm actually), 2.Had to be applied in straight lines rather than circles, 3.Had to be applied in sections as small as 2 sq.feet, 4.Had to be dried 45 minutes before buffing with a micro fibre cloth, 5.The paste gets stuck in cracks & crevices of the car body and is a pain to remove it..etc..etc HOWEVER... In My Experience : xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 1.I had the car washed & clean and made sure that the surface was clean of dust and debris while waxing to avoid scratching it during the process. 2.I initially parked in shade but by the time it fully dried after wash..it was half under sunlight. Didn't bother me a bit. 3.I applied the wax in circles to press fill the minor swirl marks over the car chassis,applied in thin layers and evenly spread it..chose large sections like a door in a shot,let it dry for 5 minutes at max.and then buffed it manually with a fine micro fibre cloth. The shine and lustre achieved was awesome.The shiny waxy layer aspires admiration & gives a confident lasting feel unlike the ordinary shine attained after a simple wash. I Definitely love it. Very easy to apply and wipe clean even for an Average Joe. Highly recommended for every vehicle Owner.

I purchased two liquid wax, Formula 1 Liquid Carnauba Wax and 3M Premium Liquid Wax. I applied both wax on a car bonnet to compare side by side. I chosen a red color car instead of silver or white to know if the wax is Abrasive, and turns out that both the wax are abrasive. Abrasive means it contains some cleaning agents, so it end up removing tiny quantity of paint. It wont damage your paint in 1-2 uses but if you continue to use it regularly after many uses and may be in 1yr or so your car paint would look worse. Its written on Formula 1 bottle - "Formula1's exclusive micropolishing agents removes scratches and haze" which means it has some cleaning agents that remove tiny amount of paint when applied. while no such things were written on 3M. here is how I rated them on different parameters. Most Abrasive - 3M, it end up removing more paint than Formula 1 Water Beading - 3M Dust Protection - Formula 1 Layered protection - Formula 1, forms a layer of wax. Shine - Both Equal Life - 3M (2-5 Days), Formula 1 (4-9 Days) Cost - 3M (Rs. 210 for 200ml), Formula 1 (Rs. 315 for 473ml) Between the two, I would go for formula 1 but then both are abrasive so I wont be buying another bottle of it. now i would try some non-abrasive cream wax like turtle or waxpol. Very good product, but some kind of sticker is pasted over how to apply instructions, thats why i am searching for you tube video to see how to apply the ceremic wax in my car

REVIEW AFTER ONE YEAR FROM INDIA: I am about to finish this can of Formula 1's Carnauba wax, I have used this on an average every two month or so for the past one year, during this period my Honda was parked under open summer-sun for three months and for the past 9 months it has the luxury of a garage. I have done close to 10,000 kms in the past one year, which includes extreme off-road drives to Nepal(District Mustang) and Tibet from India in December'2017, and is a daily commuting vehicle for me to my office otherwise. I have now come to understand that Formula 1's Carnauba car wax contains ''Hidden Polishing and Cleaning Agents''. I started using this wax on my brand new Honda BR-V (Colour: Orchid White Pearl) which I bought last monsoon in July'2017, no other polish, wax or clay was used during the past one year except Formula 1's Carnauba wax. To wash my Honda I had always used a shampoo manufactured to be used on humans. Today again after I had washed my Honda with human-shampoo, for the first time I decided to feel the surface of bonnet and roof after the car had been dried. I swiped my dry palm/hand over the bonnet and roof's surface and to my Utmost Surprise and Amazement I found that the surface is smooth and slick, no abrasives or rough feeling while I swiped my palm, and this super-clean-smooth surface is after one year since I am using this Formula 1's Carnauba wax. No sort of polish, wax or clay has ever been used on my Honda except Formula 1's Carnauba car wax. I am a novice in car detailing. Today after I had polished my Honda with Formula 1's Carnauba car wax, my eyes could see in the the reflection of light falling on my Honda's exterior surface that there are no swirl-marks, just smooth slick shiny surface. I had a few days back ordered detailing clay, permanent synthetic wax, and all sort of expensive detailing products on Amazon, I wanted to treat my vehicle like a pro. Seems I have wasted my hard earned money on those expensive products. If I'm not washing my vehicle I have always wiped-clean my Honda with a wet cloth, never dry. Formula 1's Carnauba car wax contains ''Hidden Polishing and Cleaning Agents''. For a new vehicle no need to purchase those Expensive Polish and Cleaning-wax, Unless one requires that permanent nature of protection by using ceramic coating or permanent synthetic wax which holds for around 6 months. Those Ultimate-Polishing and Cleaning-Waxes are meant for vehicles over 5 years or which have lost their shine/lusture due to sun or scratches. For a new vehicle a simple carnauba wax is more than enough, just do a good wash of your vehicle with any mild-shampoo, i use human-shampoo following the rule of Two-Buckets and Top to Bottom, and never wipe your dusty/dirty vehicle with a dry cloth.
