It's definitely thinner and of lower quality than the typical fittings you might find at the hardware store. Even after hand tightening them nice and snug, I would recommend running hot water through the faucet for a bit, which will cause the plastic material to relax slightly, and then while the fitting is still warm, go back and tighten it up some more. You may find that because the material has loosened up a bit, it may develop a very slow leak, and can be tightened further. After a follow up tightening, the material will tighten back up as it cools, and form a better seal that should hold up when hot water is running through it.

I use this to install a portable dishwasher as a permanent install. It was extremely easy to adapt my current sink drain to this with no problems. Have any leaks and it's been holding up well the last couple of months. Highly recommend.

Como es de plástico trono la rosca al apretar, y gotea. La usa después de la contra canasta, quizá se la hubiera usado con un tubo entre este producto y la contra canasta hubiera funcionado, pero depuse me hiba afectar la altura de la tubería.

El diámetro no se corresponde con el tubo de un fregadero, es muy pequeño
