Philips Hue GU10 – Smart Spotlight – (3-Pack) White Ambiance

I have given this 5 stars but a word of warning re AMAZON. This was a box of three . The hue box was not sealed. Inside was only one lamp instead of three. That one was also broken with black scorch marks. Amazon replaced the product without issue, the non new one was sent back. So onto the NEW product, as always they work perfectly well this set of lamps is for our daughters room. As always easy to set up and they do last as Hue products are quality. I have a few bulbs and all have worked continuously for several years. I am concerned though about Amazons selling practices, in recent times this is not the first occurrence of them sending opened or faulty products that are described as new.

If you are in the HUE ecosystem, these are amazing. We use them outside in a waterproof enclosure. The last set lasted 5 years through summer and winter. I’m hoping these last just as long.

Expensive, but if you have the Hue ecosystem they pair incredibly quickly, they're very bright and the warmer tones are comfortable. I had no problems fitting them anywhere in my house and they look fine. No problems with connectivity so far.

Without doubt these bulbs are extortionately expensive, and I can't quite understand how Philips can justify charging so much for these bulbs. Even after saying all that, these have become my go to smart bulb of choice, because they always work. No kerfuffle, no messing around with downloading apps just tell Alexa to look for the new bulbs and it's done. I guess that's how Philips, if asked, would justify the price.

I love these lamps! I’ve installed them in a canopy on a garden building. The app is so easy to use - it found the lights in seconds and I found it really easy to group them and set up some routines. They now come on every evening at dusk (dimmed to 20%) and turn off at 23:00. I can also just ask Alexa to turn them on off and dim. I now have a few hew lights and intend to get more.

Having used the Hue bulbs now for a while. Very easy to set up and add to the app. Can use presets to find your perfect ambiance. These are for my downlight on my porch. Having looked around was cheaper to but the GU10 outdoor lights and these bulbs than the non replaceable ones as I can replace the bulbs if needed. And the Hue ones were quite expensive for 2 fittings. They give a good light spread when on full but to save money i have set to Arctic auora as don't need that much light. Bulbs are easily recycled at your local facilities when the time comes.

Arrived quickly, well packaged and as described. I have 3x hubs of lights (over 120 lights / devices) and just kitted out a loft refit with Hue GU10 bulbs. These are so much cheaper than their standard GU10 colour lights. The only downside is that the diffuser is not so good so the individual LEDs are more visible when using the coloured lighting - this is only a problem if you stare directly at the bulb. A comment not a criticism given the price.

Like all genuine Philips Hue products or accessories those bulbs are great quality. I have about a dozen Hue lights around the house and they have worked perfectly for several years, so decided to bite the bullet and do the 9 spotlights in the kitchen. I've tried various cheaper options in the past with mixed results, making Hue the only sensible choice. I bought 9 of them (3 boxes of 3), and of course they all worked perfectly, linked to the Hue Bridge (and Homey Hub by Matter). I might be £150 poorer, but I have great lights in my kitchen.
