Works well added to mouthwash.
Seems good to me. Good packaging. Good granules with a sweet taste, so I assume it is Xylitol. I'm using this in a mouthwash. I buy Tom's of Maine mouthwash at the local store because it doesn't contain any of the typical antibacterial ingredients found in other mouthwashes. I add 3 tablespoons of these Xylitol crystals to the 16 oz bottle of mouthwash. They completely dissolve within 10 minutes. Then I use that after each brushing. I should find out in my next teeth cleaning how well that works.

Great Sugar Sub
This sugar substitute sweetens drinks without the added calories. I used it to bake cookies and also in my iced tea. The bag is of good value for the money and is seamless to bake with.

Dr Ellie Phillips, DDS rec'd for fighting plaque
YouTube: Dr Ellie Phillips suggested using Xylitol to help fight the bad biofilm & caries for better oral hygiene. It has a low glycemic spike & can be use 1:1 in place of sugar/sweetners. TOXIC TO DOGS, so be mindful of that. I'm not certain which is the best sourced xylitol as it can be made from birch trees, corn, etc.

Dental Hygeine.
My sister told me that this sweetener is ussed in sugarless gum. It kills bacteria that gets in gums. She uses it when brushing her teeth. A filling I have tends to swell my gums as food gets stuck. I chew gum with this sweetner or just rub some in my mouth.

Tasty
I didn't know there was a sugar free sweetener that did not have an after taste. Not only does it taste good, it also has the texture of granulated sugar.

This made me very very sick!
I wanted to try this sugar substitute because I know the amount of sugar or honey I consume with my tea has been way too much. So when I researched this product it seemed like the right choice. After using this sweetener in my tea for a week, my stomach felt like it was stuck, I had pain in my stomach, towards the top of my stomach like I never had. It lasted for two week, it made it feel like it was impaired, like it was PARALYZED. I know it was this sweeter because nothing has changed in my diet at that time except for this. I DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR THOSE WITH SENSATIVE STOMACHS, The thought of having my stomach feel PARALYZED again is not worth the calories or substitution to honey or just plain white sugar.
