Quality Batteries for Reasonable Price
I purchased Lepro AA batteries to give as a present with two remote control cars during the holidays. The feedback from my family has been excellent. The batteries have given hours of use and have proved to be of excellent quality for the purchase price.

Expensive compared to other high density batteries
Ordered these Lepro AA Batteries 24 Pack, Double A Batteries with 2800mAh Max Long-Lasting as I was curious if the are as good as the Amazon Basics brand that has so many positive reviews. After comparing their weight and time on max brightness in my headlamp they did last a little bit longer than the standard Basics batteries but not enough to justify the increase in price. Plus the higher density is only good for a 5 year shelf life vs a 10 year and you can get more than twice as many of the cheaper batteries that last 10 years at the same price point. $21.99 is a little much for 24 AA batteries in my opinion. They all tested between 1.6 and 1.63 volts. Quick search shows you can get 40 Basics industrial 5 year shelf life batteries for $15.19, and while that is not the battery that I compared to these that seems like a better deal with lots of positive reviews. They came with good technical information and in a branded box, so not just fly by night batteries. For that reason I went with 4 stars, the only reservation being the price point.
