211.5 Dog Whistle with Strap Black

I was sceptical about buying a plazzy whistle, but Acme is a respected brand (let's face it, if Acme products are good enough for Wile E Coyote, they're good enough for me!), and reviews were positive, so I bought one (211.5 pitch - evidently the sweet spot for both dogs and humans to hear). I needn't have worried. This thing is loud and shrill. Works a treat and gets the dog's attention each time it's used - however far away he's gone. A great training aid. You can teach them to respond to different series of peeps, depending on what you are teaching them to do, ie one long peep = "come here", two short peeps = "wait", three peeps = "sit" etc etc. Would definitely recommend.

Whistle is fabulous...dog ignores it! (I realise that's down to me, not the whistle)

The Acme dog whistle is decent for training, and it gets the job done. It’s easy to use and has a clear sound that my dog responds to, but it’s not as loud or as effective as some other options I’ve tried. Overall, it’s a solid choice for basic training, but not quite the game-changer I was hoping for. Still, for the price, it’s a reliable option.

Brilliant does the job. My German shepherd loves his recall on the whistle. He can home in on it better than me calling for him.

Promp arrival and as described

These are not cheap whistles but i am guessing that the people buying them are doing so because they want what it specifically has to offer. Whilst our cocker spaniel will recall to any whistle type or tone, this one has been designed to whistle at a frequency appropriate for our dog. Did it make a big impact to us- no. However if you are training a gun dog or any dog to a whistle to this tone from the outset it probably would make a difference to you. It’s light, and comes with a neck strap which makes me look the perfect amount of obnoxious on dog walks too! And its a lovely colour. It’s plastic so will last a lifetime and it is a decent size that it doesn’t get lost in my coat pocket etc so also makes it easy to handle and comfortable in the hand. Obviously you cannot adjust the tone as it is what it is but if you are looking at purchasing i would do some research in to the different tones to ensure you are buying the best one for your needs.

Inkallning med rätt frekvens.

Perfetto per il richiamo e in fase di addestramento. Suono chiaro ma non fastidioso. Forse ha un prezzo leggermente più alto di articoli simili, ma vale la pena spendere qualche euro in più, trattandosi di materiale molto resistente e corredato di un comodo laccio per appenderlo al collo.

Love it, Clear, consistent tone.

Works well. Took very little training (and treats) for my dogs to recognize the whistle. When they are off running on trails in the woods, the dogs respond promptly. I am very happy with this product

J'ai acheté quelques uns de ces excellents sifflets pour dresser 3 chiots à l'appel. Le son est très strident et s'entend de loin et mes toutous obéissent à ce signal immédiatement. C'est bien mieux que de siffler soi-même, car le bruit de mon sifflement à moi porte bien moins loin. J'en ai acheté plusieurs pour les avoir sous la main à différents endroits. Les couleurs sont très jolies : violet, vert, rose, orangé.
