BFP610 Sous Chef 9 Cup Food Processor, Small, Brushed Stainless Steel

It's a great food processor. I had a few Cuisinart processors which work well. However, I am now a Breville fan. The bowl is very easy to clean, I like the ability to adjust the thickness on the slicing attachment, and the accessory caddy to hold all the attachments is fantastic. Keeps them all in one place for easy storage.

This is hands-down the best food processor I’ve ever owned. I’ve owned other Breville products and they’ve all been very nice quality. This is no exception. I love the power of the engine and how easily it processes everything from shredded cheese, to dough, and vegetables. What I really like the most is the fact that storage is designed in such a way everything fits into the bowl of the processor and tucked nicely away in the cabinet. If you’re looking for a powerful and effective food processor, this should be your choice.

Buy this if you appreciate top quality, design and engineering. It was embarrassingly expensive (compared to what I could get for similar function), but it makes me feel good. Base is heavy, solid, metal and QUIET. The plastic parts are all heavier thickness, so i don't expect them to break, even with a little abuse. Everything just works and fits together with the design features and tolerances that makes me smile. We've happily used much less expensive processors over the years, but they've always been noisy and eventually need replacing. If you're at the point in your life where form and function matter more than cost, then buy this.

I love this food processor. My last one was a different brand, it was very loud but did the job. I had it for almost 10 years before the center shaft shifted and became crooked. Of course none of the kids knew what happened. It got worse and worse until finally it was unusable. My kids got me this for Christmas and it’s great. I primarily use it for grating cheese but it’s so powerful and sooo quiet compared to my last one. My daughter made a dough for empanadas in it and said it worked really well. We’re a family of 6 and the size is pretty good. Can’t wait to try making pesto. Oh and the case for all the parts is terrific. The fact that it fits in the bowl saves so much space. The base is heavy, but to me that’s a sign of durability.

Easily holds & processes, for example, two 15.5 oz cans of chick peas to make hummus. Its size and efficient storage of parts is great for a small kitchen. But, it is still powerful to get the job done. No complaints.

Can’t tell you how many other food processors I’ve gone through. None of them seem to last very long. I thought my ninja pro would be great for the rest of my life since I’m in my 80s. But no, it broke after a couple of years. Breville is a long famous name. Perhaps unknown as well as other brands but 10 times better. Easy to put together, attachments go in a frame that can be stored in the food processor itself. It’s even color-coded for what goes where. Intelligence and great design so now that I have it together ready to go trying to dry it out. You might want to pulse a little less than you’re used to garlic and onions went in together. Just the right size no chunks. there might just be a carrot cake on the horizon for my husband since I want to try out the shredding blade which I know will work just as well as everything else excellently designed, in other words you get what you pay for. I put it on payments easily and I am so happy I did.
