Lataffa Yara is my very first blind buy perfume and omg I am SO in love and SO impressed with this fragrance!! The hype is real!! I just sprayed it on my wrist and I can't stop smelling my wrist, lol. To be fair, I'm a fruity floral girl so I tend to love sweet fragrances. But, I've never ever liked gourmand fragrances. Somehow, Lataffa Yara manages to be the perfect combination of sweet, fruity, gourmand, powdery, and musky without smelling juvenile or offensively, coyingly artificial. I'm not getting strawberries & creme or strawberry milkshake. I'm not even getting marshmallow. Instead, on my skin, it smells almost spicy - like the way Victor & Rolf's Flowerbomb is spicy. In fact, I think because I can't pinpoint what the exact notes are - it just smells like this mouth-watering concoction of sweet and spicy - that's what makes this fragrance even more alluring and mysterious. I can see this being both a daytime and evening scent - and I'd almost lean towards this being an evening scent because of how it comes off a little spicy on my skin. I legit cannot imagine anybody disliking this fragrance. I just blind bought Lataffa Yara Candy because I'm hoping I'll adore it as much as I adore this frarance. This is such a beautiful, alluring, tantalizing, sweet, seductive, YUMMY fragrance. "Yummy" probably really is the most accurate description for Lataffa Yara, lol. Truly, I am shooketh. Blind buy success story!

Update #2:Ok… don’t laugh… Well…okay… little…. I’m coming off a Covid high… Showered… Sprayed myself down with Yara and…… I smell of an Intense can of Play-doh! I loved that smell… So! I just hit the Buy button… Again!!!! 💕Update#1:I’ve worn Yara 3 days in a row now. It’s becoming my go to for day and night. It’s just decadent. It can be worn year round. I put two sprays on at night before bedtime. I smell it throughout the night and I can still smell it when I wake up in the morning. My husband says I smell beautiful. He loves it! I keep trying to pick out all the scents in it. I’m down to: Very light floral, marshmallowy creamy pineapple, amber, vanilla and a slight powdery scent. Just Yummy without being juvenile. I did receive Candy and Tous. Both are a big NO for me. Candy smells like a juvenile and cheap dime store cotton candy fragrance and Tous smells like a cheap floral and incense fragrance. A big No Go on those two for me but Yara? I BIG YES!! I now own 3 bottles of it because I’m scared they’ll stop making it.Original Review:Yummy! Yummy! Yummy! I was perusing on Amazon like I always do and found myself looking at perfume again. This bottle popped up in my daily items of “ You Might Like These”. The pink bottle caught my eye and I had to look and read about it. Of course all the positive reviews were there but I was like “Does it really smell that good?” It’s an Arabic perfume and my mind and nose started saying it’s going to smell like incense. So I read some more about it, cruised past it, came back to it and decided to buy it. I convinced myself if it smells bad, at least the bottle is pretty. 💁. So a couple days go by and it arrives. No leaks, well packaged and bottle looked just like the photo. So… how does it smell? Yummy! Yummy! Yummy! No incense! I smell, a juicy citrus, almost pineapple like, amber, vanilla, a little bit powdery, it’s absolutely decadent and beautiful! It’s not a juvenile gourmand fragrance. Get BBW out of your head. I really can’t describe all these different scents in it. One second my nose captures a beautiful pink flower and then it shifts to juicy tropical fruits, then it shifts to a light airy powdery scent. This perfume makes me feel beautiful! The sillage is pretty good. I put on two sprays and it lasted about 8 hours. Right out of the bottle it’s a bit in your face but give it about 10 minutes and the dry down is mesmerizing. This perfume is beautiful! I immediately ordered another bottle of the Yara and purchase two other scents while I was at it-Tous and Candy. Go ahead and hit the Buy Button. You won’t regret this purchase if you are a gourmand scent person.

I purchased the Lattafa Yara Tous for women perfume on a blind buy based solely off the description of the notes - and I am so glad I took the chance! This was my very first Lattafa buy and now I can't get enough of this brand. The Yara Tous perfume is a very youthful fragrance that smells both fruity and musky and vanilla-y all in one beautiful spray! The bottle is pretty, although it is plastic, but considering you are getting over 3oz of perfume for just over $20, it is well worth the price. I'm not one who really cares about packaging so I don't mind that the outer bottle is plastic.The spray nozzle on this allows for a very fine mist, perfect for layering over other fragrances if you so choose. It has a wonderful warm undertone and a little goes a long way. It also lasts for a fairly long time. This is one of my favorite Lattafa scents to date!

I tried it immediately upon receipt. My husband liked it. However be aware it is although a lovely scent it is also strong and long lasting. So go easy and light first time to judge how much and where to use. It’s a better scent for fall and winter not so much for summer though. I’ll keep it for cooler days and try to find a summer light scent . The packaging and bottle itself is great.
