The rack is made with good quality parts and fits my Ford C-Max perfectly. The only downside is the instructions provided are in Italian and French but the pictures are all you really need. A search on YouTube found a few handy videos as well. It is very adjustable for different cars but quite stable and solid once tied down.Since buying this rack I have driven over 1500 miles to Shetland and back and carried two mountain bikes on it. Lessons learned are that the big rubber bumpers do leave superficial scuff marks on the bodywork which I will need to polish back. Next time I might stick Gaffer tape or similar on the area first to avoid that happening.One downside that has nothing to do with rack design is that my fuel economy plummeted by about 15 miles to the gallon whilst the rack was being used. It might be a good idea to lower saddles and handle bars if they stick up above the car roof height.

Althought the cycle carrier did not arrive until three days after the due date and the box was quite crushed, then taped up, the carrier itself seems undamaged. It is entirely possible that those responsible for transport put too heavy an item on top of it after it left Mick's garage. The minor delay in delivery was of no real consquence to me although my wife did organise her day around this expected delivery. The you tube video is really useful and the carrier itself fits well on my car. Not actually put any bikes on it yet but don't foresee any problems. It is the carier that matters to me and I am perfectly happy with it,

Decent price compared with other similar carriers but be warned that the instructions are in Italian and French so you need to be very good at interpretation and reading the pictures

Great fit and sits exactly on my ix20 as I had hoped

I was about to buy a rack for double the price at Halfords - then realised that the Halfords one was not recommended for my car..... after a fair bit of research i found this on another site - then found it for over £10 less on Amazon - fabulous! It arrived quickly and I was immediately impressed with the quality of the product - especially for the price. Then came the shock........... and reason for the 'lost' star.......... the instructions only come in French and Italian.................... I had to use Google translate to follow it - although the pictures did help. The rack went together easily and despite a couple of false starts with the straps I managed it and found attaching it to the car a breeze - even for a woman!! I can't wait to try it out - my neighbour already regrets their (twice the price) purchase for a rack of inferior quality to mine.
