I was surprised how much it weighed! Feels like a sturdy hook. The picture shows it mounted on a Polaris Sportsman 570. Hopefully it will last long time.

This recovery hook (Ucreative Recovery 5/16 inch Clevis Slip Hook with Safety Latch - Heavy Duty Forged Steel ) is heavy duty and the real thing. The latch latches tight and keeps the chain secure. It has a clevis pin that is strong. Well made hook.

I'm using this with my engine-hoist equipment, as I like the wide-opening to the jaw and the safety-latch mechanism, which works perfectly thus far. I much prefer this latch over my other, more standard forged equipment hooks that do not have safety latches on them. The coating too, seems to be quite durable, as I've used it now for over a month, with many different chains under heavy stress/loads and it hasn't chipped or scraped the coating off yet. Might be nice to use in the future for a tow-rigging actually. Anyhow, I'm very pleased.

High quality replacement hook. I am using it on the 4500lb winch on my side by side. It was easy to install and works great. I recommend it.

Way better than the standard cheap hooks that comes on most winches. Easy to swap out and way easier to clip on nylon loops of pull straps and tree savers. Good upgrade for my winch.

This winch hook is very well made from forged steel and it nicely coated to prevent rust. It is actually heavy duty considering it is to be used on a larger ATV setup. 5/16” clevis slip hook is a perfect match for 1/4” synthetic rope winch line. The safety latch is nicely sprung and snaps shut with force for a safe and secure lockup. This item is very fairly priced and a good bargain if you are looking for a winch hook that will perform all but the heaviest duty tasks. 5🌟’s

This is a good quality winch or strap hook. It's well made of solid steel and has a pretty cool look to it with all of it's details. The gate is nice and strong and stays perfectly aligned to center with no wiggle. Which isn't always the case with these hooks. It has a nice smooth grey powder coat or paint finish on it with no chipping. I can't exactly tell which one, but I'm leaning more towards paint. They call it e-coat. It also has a pretty neat self retaining cotter pin for the main pin. Overall it seems to be a great winch or strap hook. I'm sure it will last quite a long time. I'm very happy with it and would recommend it.

The media could not be loaded. This is a fun upgrade for the winch hook on my SXS. It's about twice as much metal as there was in the previous hook, and the design is a lot better. I didn't realize it until after installation, but the bumpy pattern around the hook looks a lot like the tread pattern on the tires. This hook will hold a larger rope or cable than my previous hook, and the spring and safety latch are more heavy duty. Changing hooks was a one minute job with a pair of needle nose pliers. I'm quite pleased with it.
