Works great! I live in the country and pass them out when the grandkids want to play hide n seek in the great outdoors. I can sit on the porch and keep track of where they are! They seem to have plenty of range and we've had no problem with reception from about 1,500 feet away.

I bought this set of walkie talkies for group communication, specifically for use at church, and they worked very well for what we needed. We were looking for something reliable, easy to use, and clear. First impression: the set feels solid and well made. The headsets are comfortable, and the rechargeable batteries are very convenient. During use, communication was clear and consistent. The range was good for indoor use and around the building, and the battery lasted through long periods without issues. What I like most is how practical this set is for group coordination. It’s great for volunteers, events, and situations where quick communication is important. The only downside is that with multiple units, labeling them helps keep track of each one. Overall, this is a great walkie-talkie set for churches, schools, restaurants, or any group setting. Great product for the price. I’ve been looking for some economical but effective walkie talkies for a while now. I purchased these because of the reviews and I’m glad I did. I wanted to see how far they would work so I walked .6 miles in the city with buildings and power lines and was able to communicate with my daughter who was inside our house. I would’ve walked farther but I didn’t expect to go this far and the heat was getting to me. I’m pretty sure I could have walk a mile and still receive a good reception. They say these are water resistant and I can’t wait to use these while it’s raining.

The sound quality was terrible when there was background noise. They worked fine inside the quiet house, but we had purchased them to be able to use while riding in our side by side, and they were a total fail there. We tried using the acoustic tube earpiece under our noise cancelling ear muffs, but voices were completely unintelligible while the engine was running.
