Wyspell Tarot Cards with Guide Book - Starlight Unique Tarot Deck for Beginners - Traditional Symbolism - Beautiful & Modern Tarot Decks (Blue)

Did I need another tarot deck? No! But I watch a lot of tarot readers online and saw several reviews of this Wyspell Starlight Tarot (blue version) that piqued my interest. The most notable feature of this deck is the interesting color scheme - mainly blue and orange. The imagery is loosely based on the Rider Waite Smith system, so it's a good deck for beginners who are familiar with those characters and symbolism. But the drawings are also different enough that an experienced reader will be able to intuitively pick up new meanings from the fresh take on the designs. From past experience, I know that when I buy a deck from Wyspell I'm going to love it! I'm always pleased with the overall quality of their decks - everything from the packaging, the card stock, the artwork, and the price! This standard size Starlight deck comes in a two-piece box that is thick and sturdy. The cards themselves are a nice weight, slightly bendable but not too stiff. The colors are vibrant and rich looking. The images are borderless, with the titles of the cards appearing in a small banner along the bottom. The Roman numerals for the major arcana are positioned at the top. The design on the back of the cards is reversible. The edges are gilded in gold foil. This deck looks and feels like a much more expensive deck - the price is sooooo reasonable! The "little white book" is also excellent! It has a blue, matte-finish cover with colored pages (like a golden mustard color). At just under 200 pages, each card gets a two-page spread (wow!) including a small thumbnail picture of the card in color. One page includes upright meanings, the other reversed. There are several keywords, a few sentences elaborating on the meaning, and then brief interpretations as the card relates to love, career, and finances. Very well done - so much value overall with this deck! There's also an extra card in the deck with a QR - be sure to scan it for some bonus material from Wyspell. This is the 4th or 5th deck I've bought from this company and will continue to watch for their future offerings. Some people say you don't need more than one or two decks to do your readings, but I don't listen to them! (Wink, wink!) Thanks, Wyspell, for making such beautiful, high-quality cards at affordable prices.

(Blue version): This deck is absolutely drop dead gorgeous! The images on the cards really pop despite the fact that the cards are all primarily blue. I love the illustrations, especially the Sun and the 6 of Cups. So beautiful! The guidebook is excellent considering its small size. It gives a general meaning as well as meanings for love and career readings and reversals, and it's illustrated in color. The box is very sturdy. This is definitely my new favorite deck and I'll have my eye on this creator for more decks! (Gold Version): So, I loved the blue version, but wanted something more color-neutral. So I ordered the Gold edition. And I am so bummed! The blue edition has all kinds of gold embellishments. The stars are all metallic, sparkly gold. The card backs and the box are embellished with metallic gold. But on the GOLD version, they're not. Instead of sparkly gold stars, they just look sort of...brown. In fact, except the card edges, the deck isn't gold at all. It's more like mustard-colored. Not at all what I would call "Starlight." In all other respects it's the same great quality. But it really needed those gold embellishments to elevate it from sort of murky-colored to starry. I might return it. I'm on the fence because it was so inexpensive and it's such a pain to schlep it to the UPS depot. On the other hand, I really dislike it and I'm soooo disappointed compared with the blue version.

These cards are beautiful and good qaulity. I spent all day pouring intent into the cards cleansing every card one by one and letting them get to know me. I had the most meditative and on the nose accurate reading I've ever had. So glad I chose these cards.

These are gorgeous cards. The gold foil printing is tremendous and the illustrations are beautifully done. Despite the differences in color and imagery, they still work great at producing insights and intuition.

This deck is BEAUTIFUL. The included book is clear and complete with bonus shortcuts and reversals. The colors are very vibrant. The illustrations are very clear… and decisive. The gold foiled edge makes a pop of elegance. The stock is a nice sturdy weight and size for a Large hand. These cards resonate very strongly with *something to say* and thrill through my fingers slowly with smooth deliberation as if intent to get to message through. Fully integrated in to my reading roster with no weird energy transitions.

I bought these for my friend (it's customary to gift and be gifted tarot cards instead of purchasing for yourself) They're exactly as pictured. I love the color scheme and the art itself. I also appreciate them not all being white people. The diversity depicted in the art is refreshing- especially compared to most common tarot decks. They seem durable but I haven't used them other than to open them to sage them. We'll know more the true durability after my friend uses them for a bit but they SEEM like they'll hold up for the most part. My only thought of concern is the BEAUTIFUL gold edges potentially flaking but we'll see. Good thickness. They're a fairly standard size. About the size of a typical AFAB person's hand- maybe a bit smaller. I personally prefer them to be bigger- but again they're not for me. The instruction booklet is also good quality and beautifully done. Overall, I'd say this is a great deck to start out with or to add to an existing collection.

Gorgeous cards, a little larger than is comfortable for those of us with small hands but not too bad. I love the art, the colors, and the foil edges. They're thick and stiff, but are softening fairly well. Unfortunately, they are not super durable and are peeling and chipping at the edges where they hit each other and got stuck when I was first practicing shuffling with them. Excellent starter deck!

Besides featuring gorgeous art, this deck also seems to be made with quality materials - the cards seem durable and shuffle nicely and are a good size.
