Super useful, works great
Update: 5 years later - my first ICOOKPOT was damaged by a power surge. So I bought a new one - and the design has only changed a little bit. This new one is also awesome! I have owned many electric water boiling machines in my life and the ICOOKPOT has been my favorite. First off, the base has a lot of choices for temp and setting. There is also a delay so you can set it to start boiling later. The new one (black one in the photos) has the same wide top for super easy cleaning, and the same metal heating element in the kettle which is also easy to clean when mineral scale builds up - add a tablespoon of vinegar to about 2 inches of water and boil it for a few minutes and those spots just disappear. The new one also came with a tea infuser and egg holder. I love this!! ——- old review below I love this kettle. I drink a lot of tea so the ICookPot Glass Kettle was very attractive to me because it has temperature setting options for different kinds of tea. The infuser attachment was another reason I chose this kettle plus it it just pretty. The egg holder is a fun bonus and I already made soft boiled eggs with it. I also used the infuser and it’s great. This unit is also very quiet. My old Oster electric kettle was extremely loud when boiling water - it didn’t annoy me until I used the ICookPot and realized how very loud the other one was in comparison. My old kettle just boiled water so when it broke I wanted something that could do variable temps and I wanted one that was clear so I could see inside. This cook pot can do everything I want it to do and more so I’m very pleased with my purchase and would recommend this product to everyone. Note: It Is important to take care when cleaning this cook pot because it cannot be submerged. In fact you don’t want to run water on the outer edges at all. Be careful - I didn’t submerge it, I only washed it by hand but as I was rinsing the outside, some water ended up trapped in the base. I could see the trapped water between the glass and metal heating element. I let it dry for about 4 hours and the water evaporated when I went to use it next. So just let it dry fully if water gets into the base. When I washed it the second time I held a towel around the kettle in my left hand and washed inside with my right. I wiped away drops that ran down the outside and cleaned the outside with the damp towel after. I don’t think it’s necessary to be this careful - but I’m a bit quirky so I go overboard.

MAJOR ISSUES AFTER 1 MONTH !!
This is the worst electric kettle we've ever had! The first one we got had problems after using it for a about 1.5 months. There's a huge issue with the temperature sensor that caused a few problems: -After we turn the button to Boil, it would start boiling but within a few seconds , it would start beeping, either with the E1 displayed, or with a flashing temperature. It would beep on and off, then at times start boiling again, then stop, repeatedly, but the temperature indicator doesn’t go up. -The water would come to a rolling boil, and kept boiling nonstop until we stop it. We let it boil for 10 mins and realized it's too dangerous to let it keep boiling. We don't even feel safe to leave the house when boiling water, it's ridiculous. The temperature indicator kept jumping back and forth around 175-178 degrees and never reached boiling point even when the water is at a rolling boil. -Then there's the problem of it not heating up at all. Occasionally when we press the kettle down very hard, it would eventually start working. I wrote to the company, the first email was ignored, then I sent another one with a video of the problem which customer service replied to, they sent us another kettle. We were happy with their customer service UNTIL about a month later when all of the above problems started happening all over again with the second kettle! This time, all my emails were ignored. So much headache with an electric kettle, and dealing with a company that doesn't take it's 1 year warranty seriously. Never Again!

Use it all the time. Digital reading lets you do different temps for individual teas. Overall nice product!

Honest and accurate
Love the device. Enough to buy another after the first one stopped before the year end. I use the baby feature alot and as you see egg to but I don't eat 5 eggs so this is the out come. The heating element gave out on the last one because of how many times we use it and it just gave up on life. Very fast start up time and quick with barely any noise to get the 2 year old attention. Takes a while to shut off due to the keep warm feature and blinds we'll with counter top so I like the look but if you want long use I'd recommend doing more research!! Update. March it stopped working very sad

Love, Love, Love
I carefully researched for an electric tea pot to suit all my needs. I love the glass tea pot I originally used but I had to heat it in the microwave. I found the ICOOKPOT, viewed the videos and reviews of several products. I am so happy I chose the ICOOKPOT. I like the fact that you have different sizes to choose from. I selected the 2 liter pot and it is perfect for our family. You have the availability to select the temperature for your needs. The big plus is all the other features available. you can use this pot for boiling eggs, cooking noodles, soup, slow cook, heating milk and making yogurt. I love the stylish design. I highly recommend this product. For it is easy to use and a game changer on how easy it is to make tea. I dehydrate fruits, herbs and flowers from our garden to create our own tea. The ability to select the correct temperature for our needs has brought out the perfect balance of flavor. Hugh difference from using the microwave!
