I love this brand—I wear mineral-only and reef-safe sunscreens nowadays. This blends in very well and works very well as a sunscreen on my sensitive skin (I’m allergic to sunflowers and their oil, which is in Badger, so I cannot use that brand). This version has gold flecks that reflect beautifully on the body, but don’t touch your face after applying! The flecks are too large and noticeable on the face, and it looks weird.

This sunscreen is EWG certified which is great. I bought the shimmer version hoping for a light shimmer. The shimmer version has glitter in it. It is definitely not shimmer but a glitter treatment. I put it on before work going for a new daily sunscreen and looked like a disco ball. It took several washes to get all the glitter off. If you like glitter go for it. If you're looking for a shimmer this is definitely not for you.

Got this sunscreen because it is EWG verified and also had good reviews. It is also reef safe. An added bonus was the shimmer it gives to your skin. It's really pretty and fun. Unlike some of the other safe brands out there, this one doesn't make you look white like a ghost.

It’s effective as a zinc sunscreen and has no white cast if you start with small amounts and rub it in enough. I gave my tube to two little girls because the shimmer is REAL. It’s a very fine, shimmer sheen that covers well and is difficult to scrub off. Great for kids or performers, not so great for my adult face walking around the city running errands. My mistake for not reading properly. Overall it’s a good product if you want to sparkle in the summer. Holds up well for a day of lake swimming.
