Hold very well without splitting the MDF
I built a box from MDF and needed to join the corners very securely. These are the correct screws for joining MDF without breaking it apart. You MUST pre-drill the holes with the right bit, but after doing that they pull the panels together tight without damage.

MUCH preferred over PosiDrive heads.
LOVE these screws - typically have used the PosiDrive type and this HEX head gives a really positive, secure engagement with virtually no possibility of slip or strip. Great value for a perfect fastener

We buy furniture and assemble. These have helped replace missing hardware. Needs to be a larger volume package! High quality.

Assembling MDF
For assembling MDF boards Comfirmat screws require a pilot hole using a Multi-Step Countersink. This seems like extra work, but the joints are firm and strong. Their higher cost is justified. They were used to build an 8’x4’ bookcase with 6 shelves that was built in the workshop, painted, disassembled and then reassembled where it was wanted.
